Ive always said ever since the EV trend kicked off, 1/2 ton trucks, sports cars and enthusiasts vehicles (Bronco) will have a ICE until they are made illegal by the EPA. Or the limits make it too hard.
yes there will be hybrid and EV versions, but a stand alone ICE will be available so long the...
Agree 100% but I understand why dealer allocation comes first. Because otherwise dealers would be waiting months on end for broncos cutting into their sales.
i think none of this would be a big deal if there wasnt a parts shortage. Then i think the gap between two deliveries would only be a...
Even if there was no constraints and no dealer issues. There would STILL be ~20,000 people waiting for their new broncos that reserved day 1.
and looking at our list we have on the site. Many were enthusiasts. Ie people like you ordering 2door, or sas, or badlands. Rather then the people that...
You ordered a Badlands, Sas, Lux MIC ALL of those options are delayed. As i said.
ford isnt going to cut production to 4000 just so they can build all the higher trim packages first they are going to build what they can.
They are just building what they can. What ever parts they have on hand. They arnt going to cut production down to 5000 just because they want to build higher trims. They want to build as many as possible per month.
Big dealers cried foul!
it makes sense on paper. In a perfect world every dealer would have the same percent of bronco orders vs sales.
the problem comes in with the parts shortage as well as some dealers getting alot of orders.
Say a big dealer will get 200 broncos and smaller dealers gets...
Dealer allocation is your issue.
Each dealer has their own list.
so 1 if your a day 3 order but your dealer has mostly 1-2 day orders your towards the end of the line. Vs another dealer that doesnt have alot of early orders but alot of late orders. They will get theirs first.
2 dealer...
Yea. Especially with your build you ordered. 2 door, sas, lux, 2.7, MIC top. All of those are back ordered. So just based on reservation date alone your looking Q4. Im hoping that you will get it before years end. But you got about 80,000-100,000 orders ahead of you
most dealers are likely close to filling 2022 models allocations (based on orders) but delivery is the issue. Parts and chip shortages. Causing people to cut in line by ordering simpler builds.
first day alone Is 70,000+ orders. Chip shortage is making it hard to build some broncos. Theres a lot of THOUSANDS of broncos needing chips. As soon as those come in big supply they will start pumping them out.
they arnt going to stop producing the other broncos because someone else “ahead in...
According to official specs its 40” tires on the baja truck
And theres NOTHING stock on the baja suspension and steering. Everything is custom. Only thing stock is frame, motor and trans.
custom body, custom Axels, custom suspension, custom steering.
The only thing i can find is a few videos citing , stock frame engine and trans.
and that wheelbase is definitely 4 door.
because it came out before the production bronco they are quite hush hush about specs
if you search and try hard, not too long.
But realistically, summer 2023 to do it easily. Once all the pre ordered broncos are build, inventory is built up and supply chains are more stable
Again.
were taking about the Bronco R “baja 1000” truck.
Not the Bronco 4400 king of hammers.
The KOH truck is completely custom. Not a single stock part.
