Has anyone installed an aftermarket USB A or C (or combo) port on a non-Lux dash behind the BYOD mount, yet? I know it's doable, but want to minimize the size of the hole and understand if there's an easy way to get the wires routed from below the dash to the fuse panel.
I've removed my glove...
Looks like where your video ends you hadn't quite got it all assembled and leveled out. How was the rest of the install? Did you need to fabricate any additional risers for the two rearward panels? Thanks for posting this. I ordered mine for my 2-door (same product as yours) at the end of...
^ THIS.
I probably would have purchased an ADV hardtop IF they offered it for the 2-door. While I understand that there are more MOAR DOORS on the road, I think it's time some vendors show their love for the ORIGINAL roadster; the 2-door.
I received the console organizer yesterday from Amazon. Great product, fits perfectly, matches the interior aesthetic. Now I don't have to go digging through the bottom of the console for sunglasses, employee ID badge, etc.
I came across this a few minutes ago:

I just upgraded my BD reverse lights to LEDs. Can confirm that following the steps as documented in the owners manual works just fine. Make sure you disengage the rearmost fender quarter-turn fastener BEFORE trying to take off the lower trim piece below the light housing.
When removing the...
Mostly unrelated question: I see BD offers Lens Kits for the S2 (and others). Can an S2 Wide Cornering Amber be converted with a Lens Kit to be non-amber and in any pattern? I'm thinking, specifically, for transitioning between seasonal driving. It's not foggy in the summer, typically, so it...
I think I'll just wait until my GG kit arrives before investing in the BuiltRight panels. Don't plan on water intrusion, but that's a good point about the LineX treatment being limited to top/sides. I hate to say so, but the GG may end up being a really expensive pattern for a future home-built...
Those are the ones, yes. Appreciate it. I don't have any flex in my cargo panels up against the tie downs / floor. So I'm thinking you're right, a notch would have to be made. Which is probably relatively simple...unless that leads to lineX failure.
I contacted my dealer before you got the call from GG announcing the refinement. He had said late January, early February delivery. Hope my kit is modified.
Anyway, question: I've been looking at the BuiltRight cargo panels. How much modification do you think would be required to make those...
It's ironic that some 4-door owners are "telling" the 2-door owners that the only way they could get a build date was to switch to a soft top; hence, 2-door owners need to just accept their MICs and move along. Well, many of those 2-door owners were stuck waiting 4, or more, months for their...
OP: love the KCs; that's what I'm running on my BD, too!
T-Rex/Zroadz makes a front bumper bracket in steel, as well. I believe the Greenlane is aluminum? I picked up the Zroadz and have the KCs on mine. I did have to drill my own mounting holes b/c the Slimlites have a larger bolt...
