Thatās a great question. It is 99.9% UV resistant. Iām in central Texas and for the first year no issues with the sun.
Wipers are fine unless you have a lot of dirt and silt. I clean the wipers as often as I can to help reduce that but I have scratches on mine from the rally. Rally is intense...
I use my Bronco as my daily and Offroad it competitively. Wiper performance is great when there isnāt lots of silt or dirt. You want to be careful because it will leave scratch marks if you have a lot of dirt and silt on the windshield.
Mine has been installed a year now and I competed on the Rebelle rally. 10+ hrs a day offroad for 8 days straight. Not only that I had to drive from Texas to California to and from before and after the rally. I have had a lot of rocks hit my windshield and the worst that has happened is a bit of...
He sure did! Lol I keep Billy idol in my back pocket at all times haha but in all seriousness this was an easy DIY in comparison to some other installs Iāve done on my own and definitely worth it.
Oh man! It takes time but itās definitely very doable. I did it by myself and itās definitely done its job protecting the windshield for me. It had bubbles for a good week but with some time in the sun they disappeared
If youāve owned your Bronco for more than 5 minutes, you already know how easy it is to chip or crack a windshield š
I installed the @exoshield Ultra on my Bronco and filmed the full DIY process. Itās honestly way easier than I expected, and considering how much Bronco windshields cost to...
Thatās going to be a solid setup š„ The JB4 + intercooler combo should wake it up for sure. Youāll have to let me know what the dyno numbers look like!
Exoshield ultra kit is a diy kit but you can def have it installed somewhere.
Wow!! Thatās amazing!! Super stoked for you to get these mods installed. Something to think about is the Exoshield ultra for the windshield. Protects from chips and cracks! These windshields are so notorious for that. Also, look into reusable air filters.
I had the attics smoked taillights. They...
During muddy situations mine did not scratch. The only time mine did was with a lot of silt and sand on the windshield. This was during the Rebelle Rally and I had no choice but to use my wipers and continue on. The scratches are very minor and donāt bother me while driving. Again, this was 10+...
I just recently found out it is marked as claim on insurance. Have you thought about a protective film? Iāve been using Exoshield ultra. So far itās been great!
Nice! I also definitely have skids. They are so important to have. Before my rock sliders I had steps that kept getting in the way of those rocks after wheeling a purple of times they had to go!
Thanks for sharing!
I daily my Bronco and still take it off-road, so my focus has been less about flashy mods and more about protecting reliability and reducing wear. A couple things Iāve stuck with that have genuinely made a difference:
Oil Changes ā Pennzoil
Iāve been running Pennzoil (Full Synthetic) since...
