How many days does the dealer have to keep your vehicle for a repair before you can request a manufacturer buyback?

So I drove a 23 wildtrak and the exhaust sounds much more quiet then my 22 wildtrak. The only difference is the yr vehicle build and I also have the luxury package on mine. But my exhaust is louder and rumbles more. Anyone notice this?

My work machanics told me to take car in asap before more broncos start developing cam phasers issues and then the wait for parts could me much longer

Yes kept for 2 weeks now waiting on parts. gave me a brand new wildtrak as loaner too.

Did the noise ever come back? And what did the dealer tell you? It’s been 2 weeks since they took in my wildtrak for the same issue, replacing cam phasers

My service guy told me that the cam phasers were not updated in the 2.7 . And that there is no new updated cam phasers for 2.7. At least that’s what he told me . I hope he is wrong and they will install an updated part.

Lol. Well said, but I do like it. I had a wrangler before for 7 yrs no problems. I got the Bronco because it looked like a better version of the wrangler. I just wish it would be more reliable.

It gets blown out of proportion because of the frustration Ford put most of us through already. First you had the long wait most of us over a year to get your vehicles built . Then once you got chosen to get build it sat around for months at Michigan awaiting shipment. Then you were at the mercy...

There are a lot of owners already that had the phaser’s replaced, some waited up to 5 months for parts just search the posts and you will see

So you are saying the update phasers are in our engines already? If so that’s not good since so many of these engine phasers are failing so early

So you still think that it was the brand of oil you used previously that caused the cam phaser failure? I have been using motorcaft oil since brand new and I still have phaser failure at 5500 miles

The rattle still gone? Which motor craft oil you switch too ? Synthetic blend?
