This is a very good point. Application is important and everyone has a different definition. I mainly watch sidewall flex and how pinched it is getting when crawling. If it is getting pretty flattened, I will up it to 16 or 18. I am also on K02. The goodyears are softer I believe and...
Anodize will 100% hide a material defect to penetrant dye inspection. By the time the crack is large enough with ano to show in a penetrant test, you are on borrowed time.
Regardless it is a pretty tricky process on machined parts like these to avoid false positives. I would really...
Im in strong support of the wrong washer theory. And probably torqued correctly. This would mean that with these super thick washers, the ball joint bolt never bottomed out. The washer loaded up the outer edge, outside of the seat and never touched the seat surface. Then when driving the...
 So much misinformation. And interesting that some of the bad information in the article matches what AI will tell you (rather than the research papers, or anyone with 15 minutes of experience)
It will fit the same. The Mod bumper sticks out about .5" farther, so the fairlead would be .5" deeper in the opening. But other than that there are no interference concerns with my mount's geometry and shape with the Mod bumper.
The capacity is quite low in the fdu, as I think @Ducati1098 mentioned. It will seep out until empty and never leave a drip.
my theory is that the most stress on the FDU occurs in very slippery conditions and 4A with heavy throttly. I.e. snowy launches.
This slams the front from zero power...
Install write up. This may be poorly organized but here is how the install went.
When test fitting the winch I found that I have very little gap to the radiator so I made some spacers to lift the radiator .25" and then trimmed the upper mount locations also. I also spaced the upper mounts...
I think this angle shows it best, but I am a fan of the low profile stock bumper.
I do like LOBOs HNT goal for that line of products, but I prefer a more OEM look personally.
If anyone is interested, it looks like I can get them printed and shipped to your door for about 84$, including the mount bolts, adhesive and instructions. If you have your own printer just PM me for the files and I can send them to you.
I printed out these and they block the opening. The front lip snaps into the rad flange, and the boss in the corners slides into the injection pocket on the rad shroud. Then a small self tapper keeps it all firmly mounted in place. I can share the files with anyone that wants to print their...

Sure enough. And the fans appear larger. This may be the first time I am stumped on the differences and why Ford would do this. It appears that the -F model is the same/very similar to the raptor shroud. It is surprising that the wildtrack did not always have the bigger shroud...
What does the hyperlite rear look like with a factory hitch? I actually like these. Would probably trim the frame tail and remove the box, but I understand why you guys can't do that.
