  1. Sasquatch 2-Door and 4-Door sighted in Michigan

Is anyone else concerned that there appears to be surface rust on the frames. I know Moab dirt is a rusty brown, so it could be that... but it looks way too much like rust for my liking
  2. 2.3 Modifications from Ford Performance

I hear ya, to each their own. Ya I’m a manual or bust guy. $3500 to upgrade to the 2.7. I can save that, then put in $1000 to 1600 to put into the 2.3 and have an engine that’s pretty close to the 2.7 and still save $2k. I’d then have my cake and eat it too. To keep the warranty I’d probably...
  3. 2.3 Modifications from Ford Performance

If ford offers the tune from day one, I’ll be purchasing. Once tuned, the numbers get closer to the 2.7.... especially if the torque comes in on the earlier side it’ll be very tolerable .... that said I would still prefer the manual with the 2.7.
  4. Hypothetical 2.3L manual Ford Performance tune questions (HP gain & price)?

Check getrag’s website. I believe it mentions something g about being upgradable to handle higher torque applications. Not sure the verbiage.

Mine... I have a 99 4runner (arb locker). Makes the front diff so much stronger. Pulls me over obstacles I have no right to go over. I just know when to use it, and when not to abuse it. Works great. With ifs up front, chances are it will be the front axle that has a wheel off the ground...

I lived all my driving life in the north east... could never get used to driving a mechanical locker in ice and snow.... kinda freaky.... but fun in parking lots
  7. Second Thoughts on Manual Transmission

Agree, much more control. Makes it easy. That said The amount of time I’ll be on difficult trails crawling, I’ll probably just enjoy the challenge of using the clutch. Plus modern day manuals have “anti roll back device.” It applies the brake for you on hills, makes it easier... wish there was a...
  8. Second Thoughts on Manual Transmission

Nothing beats driving a manual for being connected with the vehicle. An auto just takes the driver right out of the equation... have they become more efficient, yes. Are they quicker, in most cases. I’ve driven many applications of paddle shifters/ tiptronic etc for Ferrari, Porsche, Audi...
  9. What’s your ideal combo. of options? Is it attainable with current info.?

I’d like: 4dr Badlands MT V6, Sasquatch with 35” All terrain tires, high package with B and O add on. Oh and all black bead lock rims Dual tops, with out the modular. Not sure you can do that Cake and eat it too
  10. Excellent IFS vs SFA Article -- 2021 Bronco's Advantages In Having Independent Front Suspension

Agree, my comments were basically Wrangler V IFS. I have driven a few LC's with SFAs and loved it. Same with Old RR's... Think estate like smoothness and pose. If Toyota all of a sudden came out with a solid axel re-boot LC I'd drop my deposit in a second.
  11. Excellent IFS vs SFA Article -- 2021 Bronco's Advantages In Having Independent Front Suspension

So I've had the pleasure of driving both a mild lifted Jeep and a mild lifted 99 4runner over the same roads/trails in colorado (alpine loop area). I can add my opinion to this conundrum. Bottom line, there is a reason why I have reservation for a Bronco Badlands, and not a Rubicon. Just so my...
  12. Sign Petition for MANUAL transmission with V6 2.7 Ecoboost

This petition is loosing steam. We need to get the momentum back. Let's get this thing to 15k!! Want my cake and eat it too;)
  13. Bronco White Tops, Multiple Vinyl Interior Colors & More Confirmed at Ford Employee Event

So no more news on the manual-squatch potential... I know I'm not the only one that is pissed that you can't get the manual with the Sasquatch package or the 2.7. It would be great if we could put more pressure on Ford at these events. Thanks for you work though... Some great Intel.
