So, with that spare on the back, which way will the tailgate open? It does not look like it opens sideways like the full size Bronco. I have a Bronco and a Bronco Sport. This new model has a different roofline also (the Sport has stadium-seating type of roofline) and the rear section is...
Well, according to lore, the word "jeep" came from "GP" which stood for "general purpose" vehicle. Willys and Ford made them. Willys was later acquired by AMC along with the "Jeep" brand.
I did these Forscan mods to my 21 Wildtrak that I was getting ready for a full speaker/amps/sub upgrade:
Added Rock Crawl GOAT mode (to Wildtrak). I think I have all modes available.
Disabled the startling Honk!Honk! when you get out with keyfob and close the door with engine running
Disabled...
It will protect the leading edge of the the hood where it covers it. There is simply no way that the small change in the wind pattern on your hood would somehow change the direction of a rock! There is a reason they just call them "hood" deflectors, and there are no supporting wind tunnel tests...
I also have a wildtrak. For 6 weeks I had a loaner Big Bend non-Sas soft-top 4-door 2.3. It felt like a very different car - even it most of it was in my head. I think the difference of the Big Bend's cloth seats (which are pretty lame and unattractive cloth by today's standards), few options...
Looks nice. I had been thinking about these for the same purpose but it would only hold 2. It looks pretty cheap though. Making one from PVC tubing would probably be better. https://a.co/d/03o9W7J
While you are in there in Forscan, you can add Sport Mode, Baja Mode, Rock Crawl mode etc. the most satisfying is shutting off all the ding-ding-ding sounds and the honking of the horn when you get out with engine running.
Yikes. I have a 2021 but still only 19K miles on it. No cracks that I've seen yet, but I am expecting it. I agree with you about warrantee deadline. I opted for the 10 year extended warrantee when I bought it. This is no Toyota. I assumed there would be plenty of mechanical and electrical issues...
I vote to ditch the hellcat. It's kind of a 1-trick pony and the styling/packaging is looking very dated now. There are so many challengers on the road and nearly all of them can be beat by a Tesla. And given its bulky size and 4,500lb weight, I'd prefer a mustang variant because it also can go...
You aren't giving nearly enough information for someone to help. I'm not sure what you were driving before, but if you had a manual shift naturally aspirated car, there are no throttle response delays. With a 10-speed automatic with turbos, you have to wait 3 seconds before your car can...
Coming from two previous 4Runners, I decided this was the right car to opt for the extended warrantee. I have a Wildtrak and my son has a Bronco Sport Badlands - I can't keep track of how many recall notices I've had so far. Currently on the list for intake valves, Bilstein shocks, corroding...
Very glad not to be one of the people who paid $25K over for a first edition or raptor. If there is one thing I learned from watching Pawn Stars, it's that rare does not mean valuable.
Since I got my 21 4-door Wildtrak I have been trying to address the squeaks and rattles from the hard top. I thought I'd ask what people have done to successfully address the issues.
I must have some OCD because once a squeak starts on a road trip, it's all I can hear. The audio upgrade...
