Might get the neoprene seat covers, especially if I can get my July 12 BASEQUATCH build in time to drive from VA to Colorado for Labor Day. But really I’m here to say: for the love of God, Ford (or Tuffy, or 4wp, or somebody), make the glorious sliding tailgate.

Seems like that’s true, and the heart of the matter, but his post did point to the specific wording of the common complaint. So seems to me he wasn’t ‘missing the point‘ - you’re just doing a better job articulating the point complainers intend to make.

Definitely correct. That's what I was alluding to in my later post, and started writing about depth perception, but it was past my bed time.
