I searched but I couldn't find much on this, so I thought I'd throw it out here.
I like the looks of the BL optional wheels, and I've read that they are beadlock capable. I know nothing about beadlocks, but I assume that the outer ring comes off and you can buy a beadlock ring.
Anyway, I will...
I'm getting the KO2's on my BL. I have them on my F-150. Great traction in snow and surprisingly good ride. I've only had them 3 months so I don't know how long they'll last. Couldn't tell you which one looks bigger.
My wife really needs a Badlands. She tends to drive over curbs and parking barriers, and back into trees with her Acura. Our Badlands will easily handle whatever she runs over.
I don't know if I'll ever need a Badlands, but that is what I ordered. I have no intention of rock crawling or overlanding across the desert.
I had the same thoughts when I bought my jeep. But I was wheeling it across the desert the second day I had it.
It's better to have extreme off road...
I thought I had my build done. I'm probably getting a 22. Hints of new colors for 22. Colored roofs. Probably other stuff we haven't heard about yet. Now I'll have more decisions to make. It's never going to end.
That makes 3 of us. I'm old and like the look of the early Broncos. And I want the newness of the new Broncos. The 4 door just doesn't do it for me.
But I understand how only the 4 door will work for most people.
Thanks to Zach for explaining all of this so that even I can understand it.
The math makes sense.
1300 res (minus +/- 100 who couldn't be contacted) = 1200
minus +/- 200 2021 allocation
= about 1000 remaining orders post 2021
Zach figures only 65% of these will go through with their order - so...
