I'm willing to cut them some slack. Some.
Ford is a business just like any other business. Every business deals with challenges and situations out of their control. All the time. It's the responsibility of every business to work through these challenges and provide their customers with...
Replacing my 2001 corvette with a 2 dr Badlands. I'm getting old and can't get in and out of the corvette like I used to. And the corvette is very limited in where it can go. I wanted a vehicle that can go anywhere , and do it topless. So I ordered a Bronco.
Very similar situation here. I have a late oct res and a late July res. Both are 2 dr 2.7 AT badlands. Like you waiting to see estimated build dates and then Iāll cancel one.
There will be no need for me to get rid of my Bronco. I'm keeping my F-150 for doing those things that the Bronco can't. And I'll keep the bronco and get rid of the F-150 when my hauling days are over.
I was able to adjust the garage door opener arm that connects to the door so that I gained a few inches. The door now opens to above the door frame. I now have 83" clearance. That probably won't be enough for you, but works for me.
This is the same thing I saw at the corvette plant tour many years ago. There were a few workers hanging around the line who could take anyoneās spot when they took a break. They were older guys /gals- probably with many years of experience.
another thing. If the line workers had a part issue...
Yes, I adjusted my garage door so that it opens more. The bronco may need a little more clearance than the corvette that it is replacing. Also been researching ideas for bronco mic top removal / storage. Then I need to get the delivery date from Ford and decide whether to trade the corvette...
You have just shown how Ford is going to be able to stock the dealer lots before building all of the reservation broncos. There will be times when commodity restraints prevent them from building reserved broncos at full capacity. So they will build whatever they have parts for and send those...
I've been to the corvette museum and did the plant tour around 2002. Quite a few corvettes there ready to be picked up. I did not pick mine up at the museum. Just drove it there on a road trip.
I would only pay an extra $100 or so to pick my Bronco up at MAP (with a tour of the plant). I...
Iām not worried about a little mud. It washes off and comes back no matter what I do. Even on an F150 just from gravel roads. It will be worse on my bronco. The key is to get a vehicle color that matches the mud color.
Thanks for the great writeup. I like your #6. I will be driving some distance to get to some destinations. Good to know that the Bronco handles the ride to the destination as well as the destination itself.
Searched for "Ford" in my emails today. Sure enough an email from Ford Bronco shows up.
But it was only an email reminding me of the "Meet the Bronco Family" event tomorrow. Oh well.
Donāt cancel your order. You should find out next month when you would get your Bronco. If you find out that it will take longer than you can deal with, then buy the Jeep.
And even then donāt cancel your order. Keep the Bronco order active in case you later decide that you would rather have...
