My wife and I have bought about 17 vehicles in the past 39 years, and the Bronco has her more excited than any of them. She wants to take it to exercise class and park at eye level next to the ladies with the Rubicons.
I'm getting a 2 dr and would prefer a soft top over the gray MIC top. But I'm not willing to go after a 4 dr because of being able to get a soft top. I prefer 2dr > 4dr more than soft > hard top. I'd rather get the 2 dr and get a white modular top when they are available.
I don’t like the gray MIC top, but I’m not going to wait an undetermined amount of time for a Bronco to come with a painted top. Life is too short. I’ll get the Bronco as is and replace unacceptable parts when good ones become available.
I’ve driven a corvette with black leather seats top off in northern Illinois for 19 summers and I don’t remember the seats being overly hot. I’m sure the black mgv seats will be fine for me.
Yep I came up with the same $2k difference. Sas Bd is the better deal. But my wife is going to be driving the bronco a lot and I don't think she would like 35's. And she'd want steps to get in and I don't want steps. I'd like to see a mini sas on the bd with 33's with the same look as BL but...
I switch almost daily between BD and BL, both white with 2.7, Auto, roof rails, Mid.
I like the interior and price of the BD better than those of BL.
I like the 33's and overall look of the BL more than BD.
I like the stock wheels of BL more than the stock steelies of BD.
I don't plan any hard...
I originally wanted a BD. Then changed my mind to BL. I have no need for a BL. I won't be rock crawling. I just wanted it. The wife was on the fence until I asked her. " When you take the Bronco to exercise class, do you want it to look better or puny next to the rubicons that the other ladies...
I'm ready to order, because I've finally decided between BD and BL. BL it is. I have no other decisions to make. Next decision will be where to drive it.
I'm having the same dilemma. I'm going with a BL. I don't want to mess with swapping tires, regearing, speedo adjusting, etc to a brand new vehicle. And possibly voiding warranty work by making these changes. And BL should be better resale value.
Thanks for posting!! I was going with a BL because I thought that the stance of the BD would be lacking. Not true. Pics show that BD looks good with those 32's. I'll need aftermarket wheels though.
I have a 21 and a 22 res. I can't decide between BL and BD. Both 2 drs. It would help if I could see both side by side. And drive both to compare. I also want a white top and don't know if I want to wait to get a white top. It would help if I knew how long I had to wait.
Since I'm unsure...
I reserved a 4 door, but I since talked the wife into a 2 door. I’d like to recreate the look of an early Bronco and that can only be done with a 2 door.
I only need room for me, my wife, and a couple of backpacks. And my hiking stick.
I’m keeping my F150 for longer trips where we take a lot...
