  1. 💰 Official: $2500 Order Modification Offer to Wildtrak Customers (switch trims) and Non-Wildtrak Customers (modify order to remove constraints)

I fucking love the aftermarket fastback soft top for the 2d. If Ford announces on Tuesday that I can have that top + $2500, I will be insanely happy. Fuck if they just ship me a 2d without a top that would be fine too, I'll figure it out. Look at my profile picture, convertible 4 life baby.
  2. If the SAS/LUX/MIC is going to push a lot of us into 2024 with no PP - what are you going to do?

1000% cancel. If Ford is making me wait till 2024, fuck it. I'll just wait till 2025. 2021/22 Broncos will be old news by then; I'll grab one for 30-40% off msrp.
  3. No more 2023MY scheduling for hardtops, Sasquatch and LUX (reported by dealership)

Texting my guy tomorrow (yuge Texas dealer) to see what's up. If this is true then my 2 door order is good as cancelled. Yeah, wait till 2024 and pay retail, no thanks. At this point I'll just sit it out and buy a Bronco in 3-4 years when they hit the used market and sell for 50% MSRP. Off...
  4. Supply chain is just an excuse, your dealer allocations are the reason you're waiting

Makes sense. I'd hop on a list somewhere when 23 order books open. Not exactly hard and you just might get your 2d base before I do 😮‍💨
  5. Supply chain is just an excuse, your dealer allocations are the reason you're waiting

Not hating, but why do you have 2500 messages on a forum board of a vehicle you have no intention of buying. Sort of like me being a hugely active member in a Jeep community or something.
  6. Supply chain is just an excuse, your dealer allocations are the reason you're waiting

Made all the more ironic by the CD6 Explorer being a flaming pile of garbage. Helped my aunt buy a Palisade last summer; she had two Explorers prior, wasn't going to let her buy another!
  7. Supply chain is just an excuse, your dealer allocations are the reason you're waiting

Nobody said it was BS. I do think you're basically high if you think for one second that these years old orders are lingering around because of supply issues. Yes, blah blah everyone knows the supply chain is fucked. It isn't that bad to the point where Ford can't deliver on 1-2 year old...
  8. Supply chain is just an excuse, your dealer allocations are the reason you're waiting

Wow that's super cool my dude. This totally explains why some people wait 3 months and others have been waiting since 2020! It's because Ford wants to use only the best steel for early reservation holders, and it's hard to get. Makes sense now, thanks!
  9. Supply chain is just an excuse, your dealer allocations are the reason you're waiting

BINGO -- someone gets it. Sure, some people have builds that are constrained and will be passed up. But your 12+ month old build? Ford has/had the parts to build it at some point, you just weren't the next in line at your dealer.
  10. Supply chain is just an excuse, your dealer allocations are the reason you're waiting

You could be the CEO of Webasto and it wouldn't change my opinion. YES, there are constraints. NO, that's not the reason some people have been waiting 18+ months while others wait 6 months for the exact same builds. You are drinking the FoMoCo kool-aid at this point if you believe that supply...
  11. Supply chain is just an excuse, your dealer allocations are the reason you're waiting

Fun fact, your company isn't representative of Ford's supply chain for the Bronco program. Are their constraints? Yes. Is it the reason people with DAY 1 reservations don't have their Broncos yet? Not a chance.
  12. Supply chain is just an excuse, your dealer allocations are the reason you're waiting

Yeah, no shit. I'm not getting rid of my old order, but I'm betting placing a new order a different dealer might get me my Bronco faster. It's VERY clear Ford does not prioritize older orders at this point.
  13. Supply chain is just an excuse, your dealer allocations are the reason you're waiting

Taking delivery of my Ford Maverick later this month. From initial order to delivery, the wait time will have been just 3-months. Meanwhile, people with builds with less constraints (no tow hitch, no 360, no bed cover) are still waiting on their trucks 12+ months later. The supply chain shit...
  14. Why does the auto start stop feature bother so many people?

This is terrible for your clutch and throw out bearing. Your car is designed to be put into neutral, not sit at a light for 1-3 minutes with the clutch engaged. Source: 180k miles on the OEM clutch and TB on my S2000.
  15. Any dealers selling broncos at msrp?

I've been waiting on the same spec (in green) since June 2021. Not hard to get it at msrp, be ready to wait though.
  16. Which is the more reliable engine 2.3 or 2.7?

I would actually sneeze at that, lmao. The 2019 Miata got a 25hp-ish power bump and it really isn't that noticeable, and that's a car that weighs almost nothing. Really doubt I'd notice 25hp in a 4k pound suv. Torque, maybe. But it's not like 385 doesn't do the trick. There's still an almost...
  17. Which is the more reliable engine 2.3 or 2.7?

"But you can mod this, and this, and then it's better!" Yeah, sure. And the 2.3L shares it's engine with the Focus RS. You think it can't be modded to the moon and back? We can play this game all day. Fact of the matter is that the $800 Ford Performance tune puts the 2.3L at 330hp/385tq. Same...
  18. Which is the more reliable engine 2.3 or 2.7?

Lazy means exactly what you think. For a V6 turbo, the 2.7L in Bronco guise is a disappointment of a motor. So meh V6 or one of the best turbo 4s on the market (with all of the weight, efficiency, and reliability benefits). Ezpz choice. Choosing the wrong amount of doors is certainly your...
