Just adding my experience, scrapping noise has not come up since doing the oil change. 1-2 clang happens, those with some finesse I can make it go away just doesn't feel natural. Almost like having to double clutch on upshift, happens less after 1-2 shift.

contrary to the install video, I attached the hinges to the reinforcement first then with the help of a friend we loosely mounted the hinges to the truck, then hand tightened the tailgate, adjusted as needed then tightened everything, checked alignment, loosened everything readjusted, rinsed and...
