  1. Extended Warranty (Is it worth it?)

Extended warranty will not cover your hardtop or seat material, by the way. On average extended warranties are not a good deal. They don't sell them to lose money. However, you could be the one for whom it pays off big due to a major failure. You pays your money and takes your chances, or you...
  2. New Bronco Owners in Texas

Enjoy your new ride! Your wife looks quite pleased, and that's not a bad thing. I had a 1980 Cougar back in the day in a similar shade they called Pastel Sand. Yes, I'm old.
  3. New Top-Level Bronco Model Trim w/ New Grille & Wheels Spotted

I see that now with your enlargement, but is it on the right as it appears to be? Could just be the angle.
  4. Another Blowout on the OEM Goodyear Rock Slingers

During construction of a Dollar General that I have to pass daily on the way to work, I got a BUNCH of flats (picked up nails from where they were setting concrete forms.) Recently noticed a screw in right rear. Took it in, and it was deemed unrepairable due to its proximity to another repair...
  5. New Top-Level Bronco Model Trim w/ New Grille & Wheels Spotted

Look closely at the sliver of instrument cluster in this photo. Is that an analog tach? Sure looks like it to me.
  6. New Software Update 10.1.1?

I got that one long ago. Just got one on 3/29 - Sync 25.2.1.6.5.2 Apparently it "ensures optimal performance of your vehicle's SiriusXM service." Of course, I can't tell a difference since I don't use Sirius.
  7. Big Bend National Park

Unfortunately, Black Gap Road is currently closed. There is no eta for reopening at this time. Some people claim they have gone around the cones, but I imagine getting caught would result in a hefty fine or get you ejected from the Park.
  8. Big Bend National Park

Lost Mine is great and fairly easy. sometimes difficult to find parking at the trailhead during busy times. Santa Elena is an easy trail but it requires crossing Terlingua Creek which depending on weather could be dry, a muddy mess, a small stream, or a raging torrent. I really like Cattail...
  9. Maiden Top Off Voyage - 60th Anniversary in Texas Hill Country

Nice! Looks like you had a great time in Kerrville.
  10. Who hasn't had any cracks with their hardtops?

23 two door 23k miles - no cracks. I park in the garage at home, but it sits outside in all weather at work. Has been hailed on to the point that the truck spent a week in the body shop. No damage to the top, though.
  11. 2026 10-speed transmission update

I know GM updated their version of the 10 speed. Haven't heard anything about Ford doing so with the exception of software. GM's version has definitely been more problematic than has Ford's version of the jointly developed 10 speed. The Bronco version is a different transmission, though and...
  12. Replacement hood suggestions for a '23 Bronco

A new hood would need paint and clear. Probably not less expensive than PDR,
  13. Ford Bronco Wildtrak is Back, Orange Fury Can Be Ordered Soon

Ya'll are giving brand managers too much credit / blame. Brand manager is a marketing position. They have only minor input when it comes to production. That's all down to designers, engineers, and (of course) accountants.
  14. Super dead battery = electrical armageddon

Only works at midnight on a night with a full moon.
  15. What’s the weather like where you are?

Texas - southern high plains - right now it's 87 and sunny.
  16. Lincoln To Get Bronco-Based Range Rover-Fighter

I don't hate that, but it'll never be a two door. They should name it the Terminator. Aviator, Navigator, Terminator.
  17. The Official Bronco6G Photo Challenge Game 📸 🤳

It never rains here, so I had to use Chat GPT.
  18. How common are cracking issues on latest hardtops?

23 Wikdtrak 2 door here. 23,000 no cracks, no delamination so far. These tops are subpar, but they aren't 100% falling apart. I cannot foretell the future, but so far so good.
  19. Trailer Drop Ball Hitch

I just picked up a 4 inch drop at Northern Tool. 2 inch ball included - I think around $40. I already had a 2 inch drop, but it's too high for most trailers on a Sasquatch Bronco.
