Cue the haters of Jeeps and "more doors" and their tired complaints....
But damn... this thing looks awesome. Like an old Land Rover Troopy. I'd buy this in a second.
Doubt it ever makes it past SEMA though.
I haven't been overly jealous of the Broncos I've seen since I dropped my reservation but I'll definitely be envious when these Eruption Green Broncos arrive!
For the Mexico vs Cleveland debate. I seem to this same discussion with Ranger 2.3s.
If I remember right the majority of engine parts are made in Mexico and assembled in Cleveland. That's why the sticker posted earlier mentions "parts content" but also says that it doesn't include final assembly.
I deal with warranties like this often though only at a bike shop.
When we replace a broken frame we hear it all the time...."I just want a new bike."
Unfortunately that's not how it works. There is no reason to give the customer and entire new product when only part of it is broken. The...
I really don't like Gaia on AA.
I use it often on my phone for hiking and riding but it just doesn't translate well to AA on my Tacoma. I'd still rather run it off an iPad ideally, or even a phone, in conjunction with a paper map if I really needed it in the truck.
Funny how these things work.
I used to work in the oil field. I had a truck on site with a big crack in the windshield so I drove into town which is about 90 minutes away to get a new one installed. On the way back a semi on the dirt road picked up a baseball sized rock and destroyed the brand...
Already moved on to plan B. Picked this up a few months ago.
Tacoma Pro with a manual transmission. Love this damn truck. Bummer to move on from the Bronco but glad I still have a truck.
Glad you will be getting a truck at a fair price.
This thread hopefully won't go off the rails as well. The man is getting his truck and we don't know the whole story and that's fine. The two parties have come to an agreement. Sounds like both parties agree they fucked up.
I'm not a fan of...
I bailed a while ago and bought a Tacoma. A new vehicle was a need and not a want and I couldn't wait through Ford's drawn out process.
Do what you need to do.
I've been happily driving my new truck for a month now. Maybe someday when it's easy to buy a Bronco I will....but I'm honestly glad...
Ditch lights would serve you better than a zillion lumens straight ahead. Those light bars would make it harder to see the deer coming in your peripherals.
You are correct that aftermarket is typically better than what Ford has or may come out with.
But....is anyone else making something like this currently? Is it better than Ford's?Does it integrate as nicely? Same or better weight capacity? Do you have a source that it is a crappy product...
My local dealer in MB has a Badlands they're selling for $5k over.
I've bailed on my Bronco a while ago but my original salesman kept texting me about it so I humoured him and took it out for a drive. He still wouldn't budge on the price... Not that I was going to buy it anyway.
There seems...
