  1. Why go for the mid package?

Same for me except I live in ME not MT. Gets pretty nippy around here in winter and the heated seats and remote start will be good. Oh and also mainly because my wife told me to get them..... The rest of the package is fluff.
  2. Ford is open to selling Bronco R Baja racer to customers

What an absolute beast! Wonder what Ken Block would do with it.....
  3. What toy (or something else) are you giving up to obtain your Bronco?

Selling this....... Nah not really.......keeping it. The 2017 F150 is on the chopping block though.
  4. How often should we use the lockers, SBD, drive modes to keep them in good shape?

My F150 is always a bit hit and miss the first time I use 4 WD each winter. Sorts itself out, but I try to use it during the warmer seasons aswell.
  5. Intelligent Access with Push-Button Start Explained

I feel exactly the same. Have it now and it makes zero difference to my driving experience either positive or negative. Meh...
  6. Cloth seats vs. upgraded leather. What would you do? Cost?

Vinyl, but i'll take cloth - I guess.....
  7. can we discuss cloth seats and carpeting

I hope Ford ends up offering vinyl in the other models, especially the base. At the moment it's one of the main reasons i'm opting for the BD. Having spent all my off road years in Defenders and then moving across the pond and optioning a vinyl floored F150 I can say its the perfect way to...

  9. 2.3 vs. 2.7 ultimate pro/con list

My 2.3 is tuned and thats putting out around 375-400 bhp at the crank. $600 tune and a new air filter. Took about 15 minutes and eliminated a VERY annoying rev hang that apparently the EPA required.
  10. 2.3 vs. 2.7 ultimate pro/con list

I have a Radium catch can on my 2.3 thats been on for about a year though it hardly has anything in it - which is good. Took about an hour or so to fit.

  12. Anyone taught their wife to drive a Manual Trans?

Just finished teaching my 16 year old to drive stick - took a few hours of up and down the box gear changing in a parking lot and then some road use to get it all down smoothly, but worth it as he will spend a lot of time outside the US in the future. This was in an RS that isn't the easiest of...

  15. Potential Package (+ Sasquatch) Pricing Previewed in Bronco Reservation Survey Email

Yep same here -not interested in any of it except the heated seats (and possibly the tow package which I can add later.)
  16. Maine calling...

@JAGSarge - appreciate the advice. I need a few other things to line up first but maybe soon...!
  17. What engine will you be getting?

This! ^ I currently have both the 2.3 (2018 Focus RS) and 2.7 (2017 F150) engines. The 2.3 is more then enough to move the Focus but it is highly strung and needs high revs to get the most out of it. Not sure its the best engine for a Bronco but I'm sure Ford know what they are doing...
  18. Black Diamond Bronco Thread

Pretty much the same choice for me - except i'll have a 50k F150 and not a Toyota. I still may opt for the Base though and add after market upgrades as I like to do these things myself. All depends on how Ford chop and change the options.
