Ok I'm not trying to start a flame war so please take this with a grain of salt. Why are some of you guys so dead set on a manual trans in a Bronco? Trust me i get the allure of the manual and I personally own 2 6-Speed cars, my CTS-V and my 70 Formula Resto-Mod I'm building. I just don't get...
It's a Dodge so it will depreciate. ;) The Carmax thing is a good option but just keep in mind if you do that you will loose the trade tax credit. Depending on tax rates it could be a few thousands depending on value.
Totally agree with you there. Curious if these will be at least a 2.5" shock? Like I said the Bilstein's have been fine on my T4R but was just about to upgrade to the full King set-up before the Bronco launched. Instant change of plans!! My problem is I have trouble waiting for stuff to wear...
That something that's going to be hard to say until it comes out. It wouldn't be out of the question to have to change out injectors and maybe add a booster pump. My question would be is the factory ECU set-up to add in a FLEX sensor. All I had to do on my CTS-V was add the sensor and pin a wire...
If anything the Bilstein shocks will be a little firmer on road when compared to something like the Raptor's Fox Shocks. However they will be very good quality and offer a nice controlled ride and handling. They will shine on the rougher stuff and rocks.
Personally I'm a little disappointed to see Ford go with the Bilstein Shocks on the higher packages. I was really hoping to see the Bronco sitting on the Fox Active Shocks, similar to the Raptor. I'm not saying they are junk or anything. I currently drive a 2016 4Runner TRD Pro which has the...
That is kinda what it sounds like it's saying. That's kinda disappointing. I do miss the 4A mode in my GMC truck that fed power to the front when needed.
Have you ever plasti-dipped anything before or even felt it? It has a strange rubbery feel too it and even with the glossifiers still has a matte like look to it. I did my wheels on my CTS-V and they turned out very good but that was almost 2 days work to clean, prep and spray them. The up keep...
Well in my case Ford has taken away a sale from Toyota. I currently have a 2016 4Runner TRD Pro. I do wheel it but being in South Louisiana we don't have much challenging terrain. I have made several trip to CO just for wheeling. I had no intention of purchasing a new vehicle right now, as I...
I reserved Area 51 myself. If it more the color of the colorizer on the site then I'm good. If it's more like the color of the sport above then I'll be switching to Catus. I like to more muted Matte tone. The Cav Blue from the Toyota TRD Pro is very nice in person.
Will there be the availability of a FLEX options on these? Forgive me but I'm not familiar with the Ford set-ups. ;)
For my CTS-V I added the Pump, Injectors and a FLEX sensor.
Looking at the weights and dimensions posted, it's about the same size and weight as my current 4Runner. I'd consider the 4Runner under powered but adequate. The Bronco will have 40 more hp and over 120 ftlb more torque, so I think I'll be pleased with it. I nice 93 octane tune should wake it up...
I think I too will opt for the vinyl seats, as long as the color combo looks good. I do really like that pic that was posted of the Catus, if that's the vinyl. I reserved Area 51 but to do like the Catus as well. Reminds me a little of the Cement on the 4Runners. If I get the vinyl and...
