He is right. If you don't have a decent idea of what the price will be then you haven't done much digging. I know what my base price is, I have a decent estimate of what I think the ad ons will be and I know what my budget is. I'll just add in options until I reach my cap, and then probably add...
You can at least know if they will honor no ADM and X-Plan. You can make a dealer decision with that info. You are never at any point obligated to purchasing said Bronco if you don't want to.
Hell yeah I think you should do it!!!!!
This will move us more patient Bronco fans up the list in ordering. I think I've moved up at least 10 spots already just in this thread. Loving it!!!!!
You can go talk to your dealer now and get basic pricing arranged. I already have in writing from my dealer that there will be no ADM and they will honor X-Plan if available. There are also dealers on here committing to pricing as well. Print that out and take to your dealer to see if they will...
?
I hear you there. I like all of those same things too. I have a 800hp CTS-V for ripping up the asphalt and a 70 Pontiac Formula 400 for cruising. My 4Runner does a great job off-road but the Bronco will be a beast worth waiting for!!
I'd print out what Granger is offering and bring it in to your dealership and ask them to match it. Tell them you are not paying for any dealer add ons as well. The dealer has no say so on if a vehicle is available on the X-Plan but only if they will honor it if available. If they agree to this...
Makes more since than anything else I've heard on this thread.
If you are going to say screw it and buy a GT then did you even want the Bronco in the first place? Like comparing apple to oranges. I could see changing your mind to a wrangler or 4Runner but not a GT. Get what you REALLY want...
If it's that important for you to see it in person then you make the effort to drive the 4 hours and see it. I'll be in the same boat here. I have 5 dealers in town but if I have to drive an hour to New Orleans or 4 hours to Houston then that's what I will do. That's what they make "sick days"...
Honestly how long with it take you to build your Bronco? It's not like you have 200 things to choose from. Go down the list of available options and select them. At this point I pretty much know what I want. It's going to take me like 15 minutes to build mine. Well that's if the site actually...
Who cares? You might care after an accident and explaining to your insurance company why you were towing 40% over the manufactures rating towing capacity. ?‍♂️
Could you do it, Yes. Should you do it, up to you to decide, but you should understand the possible repercussions.
Glad someone actually understands this. Everyone just seems to look at power numbers and think that means something is good for towing. Great Off-Road suspensions = SOFT, soft = terrible for towing. I'd rather see the Bronco towing numbers at around 5000lbs but not if that sacrifices it's...
Unless the stock 35" tires are just terrible for some reason then I will be sticking with those until I need new ones. If they are great then I'll get another set but if not then I'll get Duratracs. Have them on my 4Runner now and love that tire. Who knows what will be out at that point though.
Hell YES. I'd be all over a flat green. I was hoping the new Toyota Pro Army Green was going to be flat but it was highly metallic. Still looked sweet though.
Yeah I know what you mean. I'm from the Toyota world so the Cactus is very close to the Toyota Cement color which I'm a huge fan of. I like the lighter Earthier colors. I also think it will look great with the white top. Antimatter looks great but is way too dark for me. I have a dark gray now...
I was really considering Area 51 but I've seen some pics that I do not like the color. I really want to see it in person before ordering. I'm hoping a dealer will get a Sport in that I can check out before ordering. If that doesn't happen I will probably go with Cactus.
I guess the rest of us didn't have the same comprehension issue that you did. I find it amusing that someone that's been here for 13 days is chastising someone else for being new. I'm new too but come on man just be polite.
Yep you are right. I think the 4-door will be very close to my 4Runner. I do the rear facing in the center position so it has a little more room between the front seats and it works fine. If you need more the once seat back there then the passenger just has to give up a little room. ;)
