I will be the first to admit it. My 24 WT is a mall crawler. Its just too damn pretty to get dirty. I wash it once a week whether it needs it or not...LOL. The underside literally looks like it came off the line yesterday. I'm not ashamed to say that I'm very hesitant to take it off...
Putting back in a stock untouched PCM is definitely going to help your case. That’s the whole point of swapping the PCM out for unlocked one and not unlocking your factory PCM. You have the ability to swap back and you can go in for a warranty work. I feel like I’m talking to the wall here.
I doubt that very much. There are checksums that change every time a tune is flashed. And it’s not going to match your as built checksum that Ford can both see and verify. In the mustang world, ford can indeed both see when a pcm has been written to as well as pull the actual calibration and...
I would 100% put the stock ECU back in if you go back in for warranty work. This is why the JB4 type piggy back systems are great. You can unhook them in a few minutes and there is no evidence you had anything on the truck.
This is the general experience that people give. And exactly what I have been feeling too since getting my WT. don’t miss the stay bar disconnect. Do miss the rubber floor but I added the full ford rubber liner set for the entire Bronco and it’s the next best thing.
I guess the best explanation I can give to sharpen the discussion is that the chassis was much easier to become unsettled when the road gets a bit bumpy or wavy. Or having to make minor evasive maneuvers. In comparison, the WT feels more composed and fights the unsettled chassis issues better...
I dont believe so. Mine was a brand new badlands Sas. Worked perfectly at normal road speeds and offroad. It only had a few thousand miles on it when I sold it. 40psi in the tires for road driving. My WT has the same 40psi in the tires.
Its easy for folks to say "mine doesnt do that" or...
I added the complete FRPP rubber floor liners and it covers about 98% of the carpet in the front, middle and way back. It was 1000% worth it. And I don’t have to have the MGV seats that are basically heat insulators.
Just got back from a 200 mile road trip in my brand new 24 WT. I had a 23 badlands sas before this and never considered it a good highway/road trip rig. And it really wasnt. It was wiggly and squishy at higher speeds and didnt inspire confidence.
Well the WT with the Hoss 3.0 shocks and...
Yeah you are lucky if they remember to do it. They didnt reset mine for my first oil change on my Explorer ST and the Bronco just last month. I check it in the parking lot and reset it myself. Then its fresh and correct to the oil change.
Just reset it and move on with life.
