Yup,speakers wont change much. Powered subwoofer or a system amp is what makes difference. Without a sub you wont get what your looking for

you need to remove bolt holding rear of gas tank strap. Do it when tank is near empty. I just wedged a jack in there.

I measured mine. It is a total of 3.5" inches (approx) lift from my initial base model. 2" above sas package. It was 1.75 inches out on one side and .75 out from fender flare on other side. Approx. So it was really 1 inch off from being centered. Trust me I would not have gotten an adjustable...

using forescan for stock rear pods wont do much. They are 4 dollar speakers. Honestly ford has about the worst stock speakers of all manufacturers. This goes back decades. Charge me anothe 1000 for a good stereo system instead of making me spend it after the fact.

I got the mabbett as well. Easy install and stout as hell. But to the op I wouldnt hesitate drilling either. Unless you have zero skill level its pretty easy.
