Its a pia. You have to cut new holes. I used a dremel. They are nuts that slip through the cut holes. Once you look under the boards you will see how they are fastened. Its your running boards. I have big bend. I had to move running board back 1 inch to fit them. Be advised to do that you must remove and drill new holes in running boards. Actually cut new holes and move the nuts into new holes.

I dontthink there is any work around. Im not sure even if turning the sensors off in settings stops the audible alarm. I remember some tsb for that I think. Pretty much why people dont install a bar that blocks them. I believe there is a bar that doesnt block them if you look around.

Not through ford its not. Fords warranty for most everything you need a defense lawyer to get it covered. Took me 6 months to have my mirror replaced on my f350 becuz of plastic gears stripping inside mirror. Had to go back 3 times for 20 pictures of mirror and then took 3 months for response...

Lol,honestly all the trouble people been having with leaks and cracks I wouldnt take it for free. Just not worth the worry of wether its going to crack or leak. Too many other people with problems. Of course its not the majority but paying thousands with zero recourse is the issue.
