The dealer probably found out it was going to be built anyway (order was 'previewed' or has a VIN) and thought they could capitalize on that information.
Was a 4/25 build date (per dealer phone call) and then was moved to 5/2 (per the Ford Resrv Status AKA "back door" tracker) a week later. Have not received an email from Ford.
Love the way it looks and the functionality. Too bad roof panels cannot be removed when it's installed. Also no two door option. Could be a real contender if they had a two-door version and if I didn't remove roof panels.
Interesting, have not heard of that terminology, "assembly line date". What day of the week is your date? Build Weeks are on a Monday. Ford stated they are going to start providing build dates in addition to or in lieu of a build week. Maybe that is what this is?
Hour 10 reservation (4am MT 7/14) Reordered on October 13th for model year '22. Dropped tow in February and just got a VIN number. If other people's experience holds true, surely the build date will get bumped numerous times....
If you have a reservation, Ford has told dealers not to charge more than MSRP. If yes, contact Ford. If no... do you have a signed sales agreement?
My Dealer Selling price sheet looks similar, except where your dealer is charging a premium of $5k, mine shows a negative number (discount).

Keep in contact with your dealer via email or in person. When you have a VIN number and a bill date, they should be able to tell you before you'll receive any communication from Ford. You can also ask the dealer what number in line your order is relative to the other orders. You can also ask...
If there is a small oil/coolant leak, the coolant can burn off without turning the oil into "chocolate milk".
Also, if there is a crack in the heads or block, or if the head gaskets are compromised, you can also get oil in the coolant -- check for any oily substance in the overflow reservoir.
Mine did not update until a week before getting a VIN#. The time between the change being made with the dealer and the change being reflected on Ford's website was about 2-months for me.
