I'm in CT. Heading by rail to Brookfield MA.
  4. 6/5/2023 Build Week

I logged into my Ford Pass account and ran the VIN for mine and it says all set, no open recalls. I just got off with Ford Customer service and they still said I had a $2595 private offer, expiration in October. When my rig shows up sometime in the next week or so, I will update you with the...
  5. 6/5/2023 Build Week

Went back to order confirmed today. Let's see when the shipping date comes in. If it follows what I saw on the stock order Bronco, it will probably be 10 days till I see it.
  6. 6/5/2023 Build Week

Well, my dealer's website has updated with a new Bronco there, but not mine. Technically it says "in transit". It is a 23 4dr AGMT BL MIC SAS blended 5/25, built 6/27 (same day as mine), shipped 7/1 and final prep 7/12. Knowing how to read the sticker allowed me to look it up on Fords tracker...
  7. 6/5/2023 Build Week

Still impatiently patiently waiting on a tracker roll back. I have finalized my funding, so besides setting up the insurance, all that needs to happen is it get here and we close the deal.
  8. 6/5/2023 Build Week

Noticed on my Order tracker that despite being in the built status since 6/26, the last update was 7/9. I got this from the Live chat operator: I'm checking your order status and I see that your vehicle is: Awaiting Shipment - ETA: Jul 11, 2023 - Jul 17, 2023 - Status as of Jul 9, 2023. With...
  9. 6/5/2023 Build Week

Another morning and another day my tracker is stuck on built. I'm glad that others in the thread are already enjoying their Broncos. I hope nobody who took delivery got screwed by their dealer.
  10. 6/5/2023 Build Week

Still in built hell, nothing on the backdoor with the dealer website either
  11. 6/5/2023 Build Week

Same here. No Train to New England atm is seems.
  12. 6/5/2023 Build Week

Definitely test drive. I plan on it after reading some of the problems Ford has let slip through their quality control process. Especially after waiting 16 days from blend to built!
  13. 6/5/2023 Build Week

No updates here. As far as the Wildtrack goes, it looks nice, totally up to you tho. Dealer down by my dads house in PA has A Badlands 4 door SAS in EG up for sale. I gave it some passing thought......
  14. Fire averted!

I would have to look at it to give a best recommendation, but there is one unpowered aux wire that goes to the rear down the passenger side (E) . I would take power from A6 to unpowered wire B1 or B2, connect that to wire E, and then get power from E to your lights by fishing through the wheel...
  15. 6/5/2023 Build Week

okay Western side of state then........ might be in same consist but on a different car......good luck, the waiting is killer
  16. Fire averted!

Okay, without being there to totally dissect the burnt harness. it looks like the short occurred on the yellow lead in the aftermarket switch harness, maybe even in the coil of the relay. The rating 12V 40A printed on it refers to its switching capacity, not the rating of the coil. From the...
  17. Fire averted!

Just another 2 cents, i like to use weathertight connectors. They are fairly in-expensive on amazon and with the proper crimp tool, also on amazon fairly cheap, they go together really easy. Here is a complete kit...
  18. 6/5/2023 Build Week

@NewEnglander nice! What's your destination ramp code? You going to Brookfield, MA also?
  19. Fire averted!

So it looks from the picture that the harness wire is definitely a smaller AWG (looks like 18 AWG) versus the 16 AWG wire for the aux switches. 18 AWG is good for a about a max of 14 amps at 12 Volts DC in a raceway, 18 Amps in free air. In this case, the wire was acting as the fuse because the...
