I think the exposed threads get a lot of trail grime and dust on them. Hit ‘em with some WD40 or your favorite penetrating oil. I used Blaster and let ‘em sit a few minutes. Snug but removeable with a long lever (I double wrenched but a long breaker bar or impact would probably work).

Front and wheel cameras are invaluable off road. Tire placement, not having to get out every time youvcrest and unknown hill, etc. Did Fins n Things and Hells Revenge a few weeks ago and cameras were absolutely worth it!

What did you find out? Others in BN experiencing this had some pretty significant work done to remedy the situation…

My Badlands started doing this 10-days ago, at around 2000 miles… it goes away with clutch pedal depressed, and comes back when the pedal is out. Is that what others are experiencing? It does seem very temporary, maybe 1-2 minutes and then it goes away.

I have a ‘21 BL with MT, optional beadlocks and the Goodyear MT tires (33”). I plan to hit the trails a lot, and already have quite a bit since pickup on Dec 9. Love it! now that 35s are available with MT, I personally would pick that. but I think your question prompts more questions… If...

I bought a throttle booster/controller and made a big difference in performance with my manual transmission Badlands. Don’t think your noticing turbo lag, but rather intentional ECU programming by Ford. Even Baja mode in my Badlands was underwhelming.

I mounted this up over the weekend. Can’t fully open the tailgate with a bike on, but probably adequate for me to dig some gear out. Without the hitch extension the spare tire hits the rack pivot mechanism And doesn’t open more than and inch or two.

Sounds like a lot of wheel (9”) for a 255 on an off road vehicle. But if you like the look then who cares? What’s the problem?
