I've got a weird issue with my TriPro bumper install... have it hardwired to the fuse taps and every so often, the start stop completely disables the screen and the only way to turn it back on is to cycle the engine completely on / off.
Also when I installed it, I had parking mode, but I lost...
Exact same thing happened to me...only it was stuck at "Order Received by dealer"
For two god!%$mn years.
Then got a call out of the blue, "It's here! Let us know how you're going to finance $65k in the next 48 hours or we'll sell it to someone else."
Mad, angry scramble, but got it done.
I'm trying to figure out from the pics a couple of things...
a) does it move / fold down? Or is it locked in place?
b) are those bump stops on the bottom of the brackets? Are they touching the speaker or no?
+1 on the screen being distracting at first... I was paranoid I was gonna be looking at the front camera feed while driving and accidentally hit something...
I wrapped the connection point between camera and wire in electrical tape, then double heatshrink tubing for good measure. I've read water can play havoc on the connection, so FYI.
Found a fix! Reoriented the fuse tap to point down instead of up and replaced the blue Wolfbox fuse with the ACC fuse I pulled and boom! Power mirrors restored!
hope this helps folks!
I just installed the hardwire kit last week and went to adjust my mirrors - and they’re inoperable. No power.
Question now is, “Do I care once the mirrors are set at the right angle?”
I dunno. But at least the Wolfbox is working normally.
how did you reset the FET? And did you figure out how...
Sometimes when I start up the audio looks like it's playing (on the screen) but it seems that the speakers forgot to "wake up" - I think it's a Bronco OS issue.
Also, if this happens again, pro tip: hold down power and the fast forward buttons at the same time to reset / restart the audio - you...
Def would like to see lock being standard - would be a nice solution for when you take the top / doors off and need to protect some things - or maybe that's just not the intended use.
Would also like to see options for a no slip rubber top mat or marine carpet or something.
Only downside is...
