went right to work installing it. the only modification I did was swap out the ball and magnetic plate for a MagSafe charging disc I had from an older setup. It's strong and now gives me wireless charging also. I think this bracket and setup is pretty stout. Going to give it some road...

mine is a broaddict kit from Amazon. It is lighter than the Orange available from Ford.

The mount attaches to a bracket using the top 2 bolts of the grab handle.

I like this better than the one I have that mounts identically, because of the MagSafe disc. does it have built-in charging capability with that disc? Sure hope this is sub-$50 For reference, my existing setup:
