This addresses the tuner itself, but leads me to believe that the tune for the vehicle does not receive updates. Otherwise, they would recommend updating or having the tune file re-flashed to the Bronco.
agree with the assessment that it is damn close to cyber orange. the Amazon vendor doesn't give an exact color other than orange.
I have some cyber orange vinyl...assuming it was printed as close to the Ford color, I will snap a photo next to the wheel for comparison.
many times when you compare that cost to what aftermarket options are available, it doesn't make the OEM stuff worth it. The flip side to that is, it's extremely expensive to get new OEM stuff from the dealer.
Sometimes it's a waiting game and when the right person comes by, it's a quick deal.
ah man! mine didn't have any nicks or damage at all. I'd definitely hit them up and get those replaced.
I'm with you, I liked this color better as well.
Amazon. This set of 5 was $399 and with a 30-day return policy. it was a chance worth taking before spending a significant amount more for the Ford ones.
I decided on orange as my accent color for the Bronco and I'm really pleased with how these beauty rings look. Took my time loosening and tightening and had no issues removing or reinstalling.
This is what I was thinking. Before I tear out my OEM one and spend almost $600 plus my time on a new one, sure would be nice to see what improvement it is going to have. Unless I've missed it, all I see is a statement of 3-6db reduction from road and wind noise.
another thing just came to mind as I look at the rear image again. When it rains or the bronco gets dirty, I don't know if that part of the rear window will be usable for video recording. Doesn't look like the wiper would clear that area. Is that something you could check?
do the 17" deals only go down in secret private messages? asking for a friend...
but seriously, I have new tires scheduled to be mounted next week, I might consider holding off if there is something going on with 17" options. If not, that's okay, would just like to know.
are these Coopers only available in E load range? I was looking to avoid them as to not harshen the ride, but I'm likely going to be doing a lot of pavement and forest service road type driving for the time being, so these seemed like a viable option.
I sent them an inquiry regarding compatibility with the 360 camera. It would appear from photos that if you installed either hoop on it that would impede the view of the front camera. I would opt to not install a bar, but I'm wondering if putting a winch on would also be in the way of the...
coming from a Toyota, a lot of folks running BA gear in that space and it's been really nice, durable steel. The Bronco offerings are looking pretty attractive as well!
👋 new Bronco owner. Just picked my '22 Wildtrak up this week. It was at Rahal's Land Rover South Hills dealership. I'm roughly an hour north of the city though.
