I'm sure this was already answered and I missed it, but what is the expected timeframe from build date to completed? I understand the transportation to dealer is different for everyone.
I know I have posted about this recently but I spent a lot of time last month driving a new Rubicon that was Hemi swapped my Americas Most Wanted. Obviously the Hemi adds to the price but I still couldn't believe how poorly it drove for how expensive it was.
I never thought I would get back in...
That's exactly where I am at with it. Going to self ManSquatch it once the factory tires wear out. Just not sure on wheels... Glad I'm not alone on this
I appreciate everyone's feedback! Learning a good bit here. Definitely happy with my build decision.
Planning a road trip to Moab once I take delivery. Maybe after that cross country trip I'll see if I need 35's next.
I ordered a Badlands 2 door without the Sasquatch package. I wanted it but did not feel like waiting (ordered a manual) and realized there were different wheels and tires I wanted more in the aftermarket. Anyone in the same boat here? Not too sure what I might do with suspension, wheels and...
Such a simple thing I haven't even considered. Honestly I might just permanently remove the back seats of my 2 door. Seems like it would solve all these potential issues lol
Going off of what I said earlier about driving the Hemi swapped JL the past few weeks, this couldn't be more true. There is SOOOO much play in the steering. Between that, having 500hp and the snow storm I went through a few times... YIKES. It was fun but felt so sketchy. Especially for how well...
For me its simple:
1. I know exactly what I am going to be paying already
2. If I don' love it after a few months/a year it will be EASY to sell
3. I would rather blow torch my nipples off than spend a year watching them drive around without having mine
