Yeah probably a good call. I was monitoring the temps on the gauges pretty close and we were up there in temp. We had been vacationing in Palm Desert is why we chose to run it before heading home. I am rarely out that way during the winter or spring since the hotel rates are twice the price!
Yeah that’s the plan! I wanted to check out Berdoo Camp but our GPS was slightly off on its timing so we ended up missing it I think. I believe you have to hike to it right?
Just looked that trail up. Looks like a good one with a lot of off shoots too. I am planning a longer road trip with the family for next year where we plan to camp and off road for a few days. Might be a good option! Thanks for sharing.
The range and trash was pretty sad but Joshua Tree was amazing. I just saw your post from the same trail a while back. Your photos are much better than mine haha!
That would be great! I’ve looked into some of the 4x4 clubs out this way but a lot for the dates don’t line up with my schedule. Would definitely be up to hit a few more trails out in Joshua Tree!

Randomly the clips on the rear of the mirror gave way yesterday. Is there a way to get a replacement for just the clips or do I need to replace the whole mirror?

Really nice build. I also would probably not use it to cook but for storage its great. Would be great if there was an easy way to convert it to a one piece flat top workbench too.
