I've always named my vehicles after songs about women. To make it more interesting, the first letter of the name should match the model of vehicle too.
My first car was an 84 Bronco II, aptly named "Bertha" after the Grateful Dead song.
My current Jeep Wrangler is "Jolene" and she's been great...
I just got back from the TX Off Road-eo this weekend. It was awesome and run by great people, Bronco enthusiasts that have literally NOTHING to do with dealerships, production, ordering, etc. at Ford HQ. If you're upset with Ford, write some emails and even better, make some calls to customer...
I'll be picking up my Big Bend in DFW (hopefully) after it gets built 10/29 week. I'll be driving it back to MO if you want to meet up and swap out. I'm hoping it'll show up early November, but who knows, right? DM me if you want to talk logistics.
Saw a First Edition 4dr in Cyber Orange last week in St. Louis. I geeked out, parked next to it and took a few pics. Then I randomly spotted a Velocity Blue 2dr on the highway 4 days later. All of this right after I got my build notice. Seemed kinda cosmic.
Definitely have gotten emotional this week when I got my VIN. Drove Jolene here for 11 years. Moved across states twice. Hit a lot of trails and had a lot of memories. I couldn't be more excited for my new Bronco, but I'm definitely going to have a hard time selling the JK.
