I went with the plastic bumper mainly because I never felt like I needed a steel bumper on my JK Wrangler. But once I saw them in person, I regretted not opting for the modular bumper.
Luckily I found a good deal from a forum member on a takeoff modular bumper and I'm going to replace mine. A...
Bring Back Bronco is one that Ford put out detailing the history of the Bronco, why it went away and how the development of the 6th generation came to be. Pretty great to hear from the original tests all the way up through the release. It's a good limited series, about 8 episodes long. Perfect...
Cup holders. We need cup holders. Preferably some on the rear floorboard attached to the center console, so they can be accessed by front and rear passengers.
something like this:
NovelBee Rear Cup Holder Floor Console Mounted Drink Holders Fit for Jeep Wrangler JL 2018 2019 Up...
This is 100% the reason I went with the Curt hitch. I occasionally left the hitch ball on my JK every now and again. My bruised shins will never forgive me.
I installed the Curt hitch in about 15 minutes. Waiting for a warmer day to mess with the wiring harness.
Modular. With Washer/Wiper/Defrost
But I'll be honest if someone else brings out one that has a removable backseat section, I'll probably go with theirs - or buy a factory top. I spent the last decade having to get a friend to help me remove my 4dr Jeep JK top and I'd much prefer for one that's...
This sucks man. I'm sorry to see it.
But this is a good time to remind everyone here to invest in a solid anti-theft device, like the Trunk Monkey. Really makes a huge difference.
Same here. First time for me to have a rearview camera, steering wheel controls - but now that I've moved to the midwest from the south - remote start and seat heaters FTW.
Thanks for the info. It lines up with what my dealer was telling me this summer.
The two main things I changed:
Hardtop - went from a dual top to MIC top to soft top. Been a Jeep dual top driver for a decade and I've always said if I could only have one top, I'd go with the soft top. Because...
I got frustrated with the lack of options for my Wrangler JK years ago. Ended up cutting a 2 piece section of heavy plywood to fit exactly over the cargo area, cut out around the roll bars, that bolted into the hardtop mounts. Covered it in all weather gray carpet and it honestly looked pretty...
Flew back to Dallas Saturday and went straight to the dealership to pick up my baby. Then took her on a 9-hour road trip back home. Best first 500 miles ever.
Agree with the others in the thread. Winches are great, but a good kinetic rope can do amazing things in pulling out of mud. This summer my Jeep pulled my buddy's 72 Bronco out of mud almost over his wheel wells. It's just science, the stretch on the rope creates a ton of pull energy. Look up...
Had an emotional Friday last week. Sold my Wrangler to a dealership here in Missouri and as soon as the paperwork was done and I was home with an empty driveway - I got a text from my dealer in Texas. My Bronco is due to arrive by 12/11 and I'd been bugging him for a rail car #
"Sorry for the...
Congrats! Great looking ride. I've spotted a few Broncos here around St. Louis, I'll keep an eye for you on the road. And I'm looking forward to flying to get mine from Texas and taking that first road trip home with it in a few weeks.
