Sports team car magnets applied just behind the doors look so good on Broncos that I don't just have them on for game days. They look like decals, but can be removed at any time and cost only about $12.
If you have OCD, the Bronco may not be the right vehicle for you. You are bound to get a rock chip or a dent or a scratch if you use the vehicle as intended.
I don't find the base steelies "wasteful" at all. I love them and so do literally dozens of people who have approached me next to my vehicle to tell me how much the base with steelies reminds them of the OG Bronco.
Actual "overlanders" who drive for months at a time through the wilderness, do...
I got a 2021 2-Door M/T Base Bronco with almost nothing on it (just switches and roof rails). It cost me a total of $30,555 (plus a couple of dealer minor add ons: door guards and wheel locks). This low price allowed me to get a Bronco for the cost of an average boring SUV. Sasquatch looks cool...
Before you do that, consider the 1-up rack which (I believe) allows you to open the tailgate with the rack on (bikes have to be off tho). You don't even need an extender hitch mount if you get the long Draw-Tite Hitch.
You copied me copying you.
I should have known this would happen from the Flex Bronco Cosplay guy. ;)
I will have you know that the same color was picked to show how they are basically identical when you squint.
I don't have a good feel for how long Bronco tires will last. I have seen 6-10 years regardless of how much they are used. The OBX deal is the best for an immediate upgrade and/or if I truly wanted to lock into two sets of wheels AND tires. I could upgrade to OBX for now, then swap out my Base...
Yes. @BudgetBronco has an excellent video on this topic. I may copy his plan. I am 2 years in with the base set, just kind of itching for an upgrade now. It is just that getting take offs that work with the 17" inch steelies may be easier than the 16" steelies.
I really like the look of my silver steel wheels, but the tires do seem a little small on it from an aesthetic standpoint.
But getting the 17" black steel wheels (from the black diamond trim), I will gain an inch, and a higher probably of finding someone with take offs that will fit. TBD, I am...
This is sound advice. I may be able to just get by by putting bigger tires on my 16" steelies when ready. Now what do I do with $400-1000 that I was thinking of spending of Wheels now?
I have a 2021 Base Bronco 2-door. I have have kept is stock, but it has been almost 2 years. I am ready to do some wheel/tire upgrades (I think, or maybe I should do something different?).
Some factors:
I came across two fantastic wheel deals available RIGHT NOW in my area, but I am not sure...
I am happy taking the front two panels and storing them in the back of my 2 door bronco. Ford only gave me one bag to hold both. It is really hard to fit both of the front tops in there, so I got another bag. I feel comfortable driving on the highway with the panels off, especially with the roof...
Bump. @UM_Ftown is an excellent guy who loves his Bronco. We met in person to do a different transaction. Not only did it go smoothly, he could not have been nicer or more accommodating. We ended up talking for a half hour about all things Bronco.
