Regularly pulled an Rmax with my Taco/Bronco. You have no need for a tandem axle with Broncos towing capacity. If you get correct hitch/coupler height you shouldnāt have to worry about squat. Trailer brakes also not really necessary at sub 4000lb weight IMO. Get a 6x12 single axle, mount...
Iāve had all 3 OEM options - I think even with the rock rails and especially the full length steps, they look a lot better if you install the trail armor rocker panels which black out the whole pinch weld area and are just a really nice factory finish look. The hoop steps actually hide the pinch...
Very cool, a much better buy vs. a Rivian in theory, but by the time these release in 2 years I highly doubt they start under the $70k mark. Iām sure the one youād want with the gas/electric range extender thing (hybrid?) will probably be closer to $90k.
I see - but if you installed the procal yourself, how would that show up - especially if you flash back before ever taking it to a dealer for service? I guess maybe bc you have to enter your VIN online to get the software initially?
Yes, obviously if something crazy would happen fixing it wouldnāt be covered but thereās not really anything that can go wrong tbh unless you majorly fail at following basic instructions. Iām saying if you install yourself successfully nothing warranty-wise is affected after the fact. You can...
The point is itās kind of ridiculous the cost to go up 4ā of screen size considering what that technology actually costs nowadays⦠that being said, also not above doing the mod myself at some point lol
Big misconception about the warranty with these things - it has to be done by a Ford dealer to maintain the ProCal warranty NOT your vehicleās overarching warranty. Just do it yourself, thereās nothing to it.
Thatās why I said youād probably need to integrate the ditch mounts in the design too. Basically something that attaches at the bottom to those and then the windshield mounts up top. If the trail sights can support 100+ lbs I have faith it can be done lol
Somebody just needs to make a standalone front crossbar that mounts to the windshield spots and possibly ditch light locations. That would allow everyone with soft tops to use a simple hitch rack like the Yakima Longarm. Canāt believe this solution still doesnāt exist. Everyone wants to make...
The sas shocks are like 0.4ā higher in the front vs. Badlands no sas so it sits just slightly more level with sas package. I would still prefer the non sas shocks though bc they allow for slightly more articulation than the sas ones do.
15.2 mpg is terrible. I have a 2.3 manual with performance tune (93 octane only) and the Badlands 33ā KO2s which weigh pretty much the same as the 35ā Goodyears. I get 21.5mpg combined and about 24mpg on freeway and that is running in sport mode pretty much all the time⦠I do use cruise on...
In general, never a good idea to buy an extended warranty for pretty much anything bc this is the stuff that happens⦠they r never actually a good deal and there always ends up being ātechnicalities.ā
Ford and Bilstein r prob the last people u want to give more money to, but Iād go with the...
Not sure where you are located but most of the people with rattle noises (me included) only hear them when weather is below 50ish degrees on cold start. I had no idea I had the rattle upon taking delivery in summer but it reared its head as soon as fall came around. Basically, itās hard to know...
2.3 4-door manual with 33ā K02s, trektop, and ford performance tune (93 octane only, computer correctly calibrated to slightly larger tires, auto start set to āoffā permanently) = 21.5 mpg combined. Always use sport mode but do use cruise control anytime Iām on highway/freeway.
