Thank you Ford, but..... Don't pat yourself on the back too much:
Two years waiting and did we in 🇨🇦 get any "care" packs? If we did you sent mine to the wrong address?
Only a $750 discount?
No extra Ford points?
And it was impossible to track online. Like WTH?
And ours cost the equivalent...
I do. Thing is I rarely drive it. It's like driving a go-cart compared to modern cars. Right now it's 500/600+ and traction does NOT exist. But it's fun. Does the R ever get driven? But not with the Bronco... I told the dealer I'll send him a pic with #at least# 3 of the 4 wheels in the air...
Thanks. I do like the colour.
Here is quite an old pic of my (true) 1993 (SVT) Cobra (only 4993 made) coming home to my 1993 GT.
Notice anything? 30 years and the colours are identical!
Gotta give Ford credit, they were thinking on this truck.
My Bronco came in last week. It's sitting at the dealer to get lifted, etc...
Here's a pic.
I sat in it for 1 minute. Seems nice.
But I will say this, it looks a ZILLION times better in person than I ever thought it would. A zillion.....
Zillion!
I guess the wait was worth it. Keep the faith.
Hey man, me again. I'm going to pull the plug on my SAS flares and save some money, going with the stock wheels, but ANY rubbing issues with the 315s on those wheels? Please let me know ASAP. :) Thank you!
So the 315s fit perfectly under the flares with the 7.5"/55mm wheels? Who knew! I guess because the track of non-SAS Broncos is about 1" shorter per side....? So a stock tire would have room to spare under the flare. Who knew!??! But dam that fits good.
I had to order SAS flares (ouch $$) for...
Ford uses a thermo-electric gizmo.... basically magic... but really running a charge through metallic plates that produce cold or hot. There is a fan. I had an MKZ when they were new and my junk was never happier. My much newer MKS seems to be lacking the same cold. The problem is that they are...
For shits and giggles: I had a 1993 Mustang. Last year of the Fox. The car was a very late model 1993 painted in a 1993 ES Vibrant Red paint code, but the engine bay was an EG paint code, Electric Red I think. I SHIT YOU NOT. Lift the hood and it was night and day.
Should have kept that car. No...
Dog thread! Get it going!
I have a Treeing Walker Coonhound. Basically, she has two modes: behind the fence and in-front of the fence. Behind the fence: Me: "Ahhhh, serial killler!!" Her: "That's your problem." In-front of the fence" Me: "What a cute bunny." Her: "IF IT MOVES IT DIES!!!"...
Available in June - when Ford says my Bronco will be here. Zero miles. I'm in Alberta, Canada. As a package, $1,200 US or $1,500 CDN.
No pics but I think you all know what they look like.
Send me a note if you're interested.
Thanks!
Was gonna but went with the retractable top. NOW, a white convertible roof.... Yeah, baby. Ford used to make those for the Mustang but even they went away. I'm not holding my breath.
You know, I was measuring wheels and tires for my 1980s Mustang many years ago.... Detailed measurements - this was in the pre-Interweb day when you did it all yourself... One rear wheel was rubbing just a bit when I turned. Talked with a Ford guy who knows his Fords and he said Ford's...
They can explode movement-wise like a sprinter. Run way faster than you can too. Guess he decided you could live that day... although he looks like he's debating it a bit... :)
Beagle? Coonhound? I have both. Truthfully, one of the main reasons I'm getting a Bronco again is for my dogs... My build is scheduled for June and I am sooo going to remove the doors, take down the top and do a drive like you did. Dogs will need to be tethered if they even smell wildlife...
I had to LOL at your comment. It's really not that crappy. It's not Ford, but as you can see it doesn't cost a fraction of what Ford does. Until my dealer gives me an awesome deal on some Ford flaps..... :ROFLMAO: I'll probably do a set of these every winter. (Yeah, got winter here too - there's...
