I can't believe they got rid of the steelies on the Black Diamond. Those were by far the coolest wheels available. With the base gone you can't get steel wheels at all. Doesn't look like you can get them on the Ranger anymore either. What a shame.
My base 2 door came with sound deadening on the roof, which I did not select or order.
But I didn't get my roof rack, floor mats, or aux switches that I did order...
I think they just kicked mine out the door with whatever it had on it and called it a day. At least it was the right color.
If...
Big Bend is such an abysmal deal compared to the base. Nothing of substance changes. Alloy wheels (worse) and "leather wrapped steering wheel" for 5k? Hard Pass. The only real "differences" are the options Ford allowed you to take. Extra GOAT modes, maybe, but no reason those couldn't be on the...
I have 2 door and a kid. I'm not gonna say it's convenient, because it's not, but it's definitely doable. Ask me again when I have a 2nd though.
Logically I should have gotten a 4 door, and would have preferred that from a practicality sense, but it was too big of a jump in price for me to...
I'm glad I got mine when I did, this change would have priced me out of getting a Bronco all together. My '23 2 door base w/ no options was already top of my budget.
Hey, remember when they started below 30k?
I can sympathize. Ordered a base manual with roof rack, aux switches, keypad, and rubber mats. Mine came with 0 options.
Rubber mats were no big deal, keypad was whatever, but the aux switches was a big bummer since it was pretty cheap and everything was pre-wired. Roof Rack I would say is no...
What's really annoying is the windows are really slow when using the switch, but when the detector thinks someone is caught in the window on the auto roll up, it drops super fast. So I know it *could* go faster, it just doesn't.
Happy to oblige :ROFLMAO:
Okay, sorry, these were taken after I went to Super Celebration East in 2020 haha.
I did finally get to pick up my Bronco a couple of weeks ago. I thought Super Celebration was a fall thing so wasn't looking out for it. Didn't realize it was last weekend. I guess...
We just picked ours up a week ago so we haven't decided on a name, but we were leaning towards "Bluey" since our kid and us love the show so much and it's, well, blue.
I mean, the MPG figures are right there on the sheet, and where I first saw them.
Oh I'm sorry, I mean "hurr durr america is pants canada"
Am I contributing yet?
I've been out of the loop on Bronco things for awhile... Big oof on those MPG figures. Can't believe the 2.7L Broncos have the same gas mileage as my mid 90s XJ with the 4.0L... Granted it will definitely go faster, but geeze, the XJ is a 25 year old vehicle running an engine that was initially...
@Nickp
Thanks for the post, it really mirrors my mental struggle over the past month. I was recently gifted/inherited a very clean 1996 Cherokee XJ Country and am at a similar impasse.
Do I buy a new Bronco or do I put money into the XJ? What does the Bronco I could afford offer that the XJ...
Me, to be perfectly honest. I love the way both broncos look outside, and actually prefer the interior on the sport, but every time I'm cruising through the mountains in my current vehicle I just wish I could pop the doors and roof off. Actually heck, just the doors would be fine. I'd prefer...
Black Diamond and Willys seem to fill the same niche and if you look at price a 4 door Black Diamond starts at about 38,500 and the Willys starts at 38,400... But the black diamond offers rear lockers and to get a hard top is only $650 more vs the $1300 more on the Jeep. Black Diamond also seems...
Man I love this one. The color works great with the wheels. I'm also a hard sell when it comes to aftermarket wheels (I'm sticking with the BD steelies) but if I were to go aftermarket that's what I'd get. I'm going A51 or Cactus Grey but if VB if it weren't metallic, something similar to...
