This unit appears to be what I'm looking for. I can't wait to see more pics in use and a few step-by-step installation videos. I would jump on it right now, but I'll hold off until I have my Bronco...
I've been away for a while, figuring that since my vehicle may take some time before being built that more winch-capable options would drop in the meantime... so far, Maxlider seems to have accommodated the tech accessories for the most part... ADD with some minor modification to relocate the...
This is what I am thinking of doing. I have to reach out to my dealer to make the change to Capable Bumper, but I don't expect for my build to get pulled anytime soon. It's the only thing I may change since I placed my original order. I'll standby until early Summer to see how the winch...
Who? Where? How? Some know what needs to be relocated and why... and maybe some like yourself may know how, but the other questions are up in the air for me and possibly many others. I would like to see this method being done and where the heat exchanger is being relocated to. I would want to...
You are pretty much correct about me knowing the answers... to most, but not all. I think the RC winch solution is cool, but it is only better than other options for specific reasons and when certain criteria are met(similar situation for other winch solutions). Since RC stated that minor...
Rough Country's solution seems like it has solved some issues for some, but I'm not in agreement with that... relocating, removing, and/or cutting things is not my preferred way of equipping any vehicle with accessories and only as a last resort! Does Rough Country's solution work for...
I definitely understand where you, and many others, are coming from. I, too, was one who put an installed winch as a must-have for my Bronco and placed order for winch solution just in case until more info came in on compatibility. Unfortunately, I also want my vehicles to have all the...
It is "chonky," but I'm not mad at that if the bumper is suppose to be designed to handle rigorous conditions. Looks like most accessories are accounted for, except maybe the front camera. I would like to know if approach angle takes a hit.
That's the thing... IMHO, Ford did think the winch solution through. Their winch solution can be installed on your vehicle as long as you spec your vehicle with the correct bumper and packages. It's installation process does not require major "hacking", attempts to retain approach angle by...
Yeah, I'm pretty much thinking on those same lines... the capable bumper adds the fogs. I can roll with that until I settle on an aftermarket bumper that retains as much capability and functionality of the OEM features on my vehicle. I think I should reach out to my dealer ASAP.
If I had to...
After keeping an eye out for the winch solutions for several months, I've come to the conclusion that the situation is more problematic for individuals with more fully-equipped Broncos. I am now considering to remove the HD MODULAR FRONT BUMPER from my recently re-ordered '22 Badlands to the...
From what I have seen the front license plate bracket is to be mounted right under the "BRONCO" badging for demographics that front license plates are mandatory... I guess this answers where it would be mounted for individuals with winch kit.
