I really wanted the 12" screen on our Base so after reading this thread I went out to Ford's site to see how much for a base auto today, $39,425 without 24' increase. WOW is all I can say our 23' Base w/auto was 32,500 with price protection so they can keep the $7k+ 12" screen!

Simply used a dremel, it was a mess! Fasteners were just speaker screws, the held well into the enclosure.

Soundstream Reserve RSM1.2000D Compact mono subwoofer amplifier — 600 watts RMS x 1 at 1 ohm at Crutchfield Wiring was VERY easy with plug and play harness.

I used the plug and play with an after market amp not the fusion so it plug's into the head unit then the aftermarket amp.

I ordered 10/21, when I asked if they needed to give a deposit they said they didn't know how Ford was going to handle it since the reservation system was done. Never asked for one after that...

My deposit was $0 which is why I abandoned it after almost 2 years.

Exactly, in my case it would have been almost $9k more at current MSRP.

Like I said they were offering MSRP to unscheduled order holders with them, but if they're willing to do that I would think they would be willing to sell to anyone at MSRP.

I have no idea, we bought a Tesla last month are just going to have our 2 door. TBH after having our 2 door base I just don't think the higher trims like we ordered are worth the money.

My dealer called me this weekend and offered to sell us a stock unit at MSRP, she said they're reaching out to all the unscheduled order holders with this offer. I took a look and they have 8 and they're loaded BL's & WT's with Sas and hardtops if anyone is interested in the Denver area.

How long to go from full top to this? I really like the price point as the Bestop is rediculous for what I need but if the windows come on/off fairly easy I'm getting one. I agree with previous post why fastback????
