Just picked it up and it's solid now, no more banging and air noise out of that window! Dealer said they simply removed the window then reinstalled it correctly, guess Ford messed it up originally.
Mine is more of a bang over bumps only and at lower speeds, on the hwy it doesn't do it. I found this by tapping the top in front of the side window just behind the door, it made the bang sound on the passenger side only, might want to check yours.
I am a little concerned this window could fall...
No roof rack nothing has been mounted to it yet, I thought the same as you and checked all the bolts 1st.
Just got back from dealer and he said he's never seen this before as well and not sure how Ford will handle it. Said they may want to give me a new top but I don't want one since mine is...
Hey Guys,
I've been chasing a rattle/banging sound from the back of our 2 door for a few weeks now, it seemed to be getting worse by the day. I had the hardtop off this weekend and no more banging. So it was obvously coming from the top, well after looking at it I found the issue. The rear...
Not sure if you looked yet but the bolts are ridiculously priced, here's the cheapest I found. I had to get a replacement since one of my wheels was missing one. I decided if I did drill them out I'd replace all of them with aftermarket bolts, you can get them for WAY cheaper.

I have this book marked as I'm with you they look much better than the 12 hole. I was toying with trying to drill them out myself but decided against it.
Been a while but thought I'd share a little more on the stereo after playing around with Forscan. I ended up updating 2 things in the ACM module, 727-01-01 changed 14F1 to 28F1 the 2 enables speaker and tweeter from 1 being tweeter and the 8 does the same. The second change was same ACM module...
I put the full level kit up front, 2 round shims and the u shaped spacer on the bottom and then for rear just the 2 round shims on top. After it was a little nose high for me so I removed the lower spacer in the front so I have the 2 round shims at all 4 corners now.
I have a 2.3 2 dr auto as well and put SAS takeoffs on mine. Not sure what you mean by what to expect but it was a very easy swap. I also did an additional 1 inch lift front and 1/2 inch rear with 2 RC level kits.
Thanks for posting, I tow through the IKE all the time but with my Truck, been toying the idea of the RZR on it's trailer at 3400 pds. Only issue is my trailer doesn't have brakes, do you think the brakes on your trailer made a big difference?
