Ditto everything said thus far, but I'll add that I'm over anything negative about any particular Bronco model someone may not prefer. They're all Broncos, Ford made that decision not you. Respect other's opinions on what they bought regardless of model generation or whether it's not big...
Yes, I'm sure that was part of the equation, which is why I mentioned it in my post. It's a crap shoot either way but removing both definitely got our build date moved up, still glad we switched to soft top.
Dropped the MIC at the same time we dropped tow. Now that we've enjoyed it the past 5 weeks we do not want a hard top at all but did order the Bestop Trektop, had plenty of Fordpass points to pay for 80% of it and like the look better.
We dropped tow and MIC back in late July, got scheduled in about four weeks then a few delays but got built in November and delivered December. We had the dealer install the Ford hitch and wiring harness. As others have said the factory add-on harness is a four pin, but we're not going to tow...
Tindol Ford in Gastonia, NC sold us our February 2020 ordered Badlands 2.7, leather, lux and dealer added tow for msrp. Carolina Direct used cars down from my office in Lincolnton, NC has no less than 6 four door Fe's for $98,000; they've had them since early November and have yet to selll any...
506 Days from reservation, 291 from order date. Badlands, carbonized gray, 2.7, Lux, Leather. Third Bronco purchased new (93, 95, this one), plus 13 78-79 models since 1985. Pic from the night it arrived from Tindol Ford in Gastonia, NC parked next to our original paint 31,000 mile 79 Ranger...
Thanks folks. Think I'll ask $1100 and be happy close to that. I'm in the Charlotte, NC metro area so it should go quick when posted. I'll do a comparison of both after spending some time with the Trektop. Honestly the factory top is more than suffice.
We have a Trektop arriving soon for our 4 door, so we will likely be selling the factory soft top. This is NOT an attempt to start a soft versus mic discussion or factory versus Bestop, etc. The Bronco has 450 or so miles on it, garaged since it arrived in early December so it's basically a...
We have the Trektop on order, should receive it soon and will post a review. Honestly have no issues with the factory soft top but have plenty of Ford Pass points to almost cover the Trektop and like the look better, plus I like how the back will be open and not have a huge accordian...
Forgot to ask if you’re in The Charlotte Bronco Club, find us in Facebook Groups. It’s a private group so you’ll need to request joining. We have some fun meet ups monthly but are taking a break till March. Some great people come, with Broncos from all years.
They were great. Mine too got held by QC for six days, then shipped on the 21st, so about two and a half weeks in transit. No dealer satisfaction money unless that’s where they pulled the $500 discount from. I’m super happy with the whole experience. I have a theory that the higher prices...
Picked it up this morning at Tindol Ford, Gastonia NC. MSRP and a discount in the Ford bumper to bumper 100k/84 month warranty. Love the hood decal from Rider Graphix. We went over it with a fine tooth comb, whatever causes it to be in QC for five days was worth it, fit and finish is superb...
It's here! Arrived last night, getting the trailer hitch and wiring installed tomorrow after PDI today. Sadly I have a work commitment for late tomorrow so it will be early Friday afternoon before we pick it up, but I can await another day. In addition to PDI it's getting a hood decal from...
