  1. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

Correct. I’d say the sway bar moved back about an inch and dropped about 3/4 of an inch. ICON provided the plate and all the new hardware. Mounted up perfectly.
  2. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

Here are some photos of the new lower assembly and sway bar bracket installed that ICON sent me over the last few days. As mentioned before, clearance exists between tie rod and sway bar now at full droop and full lock both ways.
  3. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

Secured my loose balls and greased them up really good. Put everything back together earlier tonight and the Bronco drove fine for the few minutes I was on the road. I cycled through 2H, 4L and 4H with no issues. There was an inner c-clip that was a huge PITA to get back into the canister that...
  4. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

Happy to report that the sway bar fix was a success! I’ve got a mile of clearance now between my sway bar link and coil. At full lock, plenty of clearance between the tie rod and coil. I’m a happy camper. Shoutout to @Dusty at ICON, @Defyfate11, and @rtaylor for all the help! Scott at ICON was...
  5. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

Well, I finally decided to take the cv axle all the way out because it was sounding pretty bad inside the boot closest to the inner cv. Low and behold I have 8 - 10 marble size balls loosely laying around inside. They look like they fit back into the assembly with a bunch of holes around the...
  6. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

I've got a non-SAS Black Diamond, so the sway bar is slightly different from the Badlands due to the electric disconnect vs. the non. Yeah, I've done all the installs myself, and yes, the contact is at full droop. The guys at ICON have been incredible, though, and I've been working with them...
  7. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

Well, I think that about does it for me. I finally got the lower nut loose and replaced the lower assembly with what was shipped to me (I also let the spindle go too far and the CV axle is now loose from the diff, go me!) I’ve got the passenger side installed with the new nut and spacer and I...
  8. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

What trim do you have? Badlands? I can’t fully tell if that’s the electric sway bar disconnect as it looks different from my Black Diamond sway bar.
  9. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

What does your sway bar look like now?
  10. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

Unfortunately, I could not get the lower nut loosened per the instructions. The lower nut is torqued with 190ft/lb and I haven’t been to the gym in awhile. The other option per the instructions is to use your table vice grips, but I don’t have one in my little ol garage setup. I also have a...
  11. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

I saw that....I hope it doesn't come to that. I will be returning my setup before I grind down the sway bar. I'll report back hopefully soon. But, with my skillset, it'll probably be midnight tonight.
  12. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

I got my kit in the mail today, too. It's decent temperature-wise outside today, so I think I am going to give it a go. The instructions provided are pretty basic, so I am hoping there isn't much to it. However, I also don't have a crowfoot wrench, and the 1 and 1/16 size is turning out to be...
  13. Badass tents short roof rack

Last week, I bought a *used* Badass Tents (BAT) roof rack from a guy in OKC who bought it new from BAT in May. It's the full rack, and I got an excellent deal on it, so I'm not complaining. But, to further your point, the paint is peeling in several places, and rust shows in quite a few of those...
  14. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

I’ve got a brake relocation kit installed from RC when I did my 2.5in lift from them. I’ll take a look at the lines when I get chance. I did receive shipping notice from FedEx that the retrofit kit is on the way. Won’t get here until Tuesday though, so it may be the following weekend before I...
  15. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

Has anyone received shipping info on the new retrofit kit?
  16. RCI Offroad Bronco Skid Plates - Kickoff Sale!

The sliders are up, but I don't see the roof rack yet. However, it looks like the Bronco6G discount will take care of shipping. Not a bad price.
  17. RCI Offroad Bronco Skid Plates - Kickoff Sale!

Are things still on track to go live today with the sliders and roof rack?
  18. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

So, I stumbled upon a not-so-good picture of the tierod and King suspension setup. It looks to me that the tierod goes under the lower spring cup on the King suspension, similar to how the SAS coilover allows it to pass under. The owner said the only issue he had with the tierod and KIng...
  19. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

@Dusty at ICON - I appreciate the promptness in trying to get a fix out. I'll DM you my info as I want to install the retrofit kit ASAP and will be happy to provide feedback. I've got the Black Diamond trim, so my sway bar link will be pretty close. Lastly, I want to follow up on your offer to...
  20. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

I'm very curious to see how they try to alleviate this issue. As @rtaylor showed with his install, if you install the front coilovers with the offset towards the front of the vehicle, the sway bar link comes just as close to the spring as the tierod did with the other orientation. These were a...
