That's awesome! I and my Bronco ( since dubbed the Lusitania, or Lucy for short) are still going strong. Luckily I quasi work for Ford so I asked my mechanic friends in the company and they told me what to ask. I don't have contacts with the Bronco program so I'm glad to get confirmation...
Just the thread I was looking for!
I'm thinking of going with Baja Design lights. 2 Squadron Sports in Amber with WC lenses for Foglights. And 2 Squadron Sports in White with Combo lenses + 2 S2 Sports with WC lenses for offroading. Does that makes sense? I live in Pittsburgh so...
So I took it in to 4WP and Brandmotion is saying they will not send a replacement until the ENTIRE kit including the camera is sent back. Which means I'd need to pay for the labor to have it removed, then reinstalled meaning I'll need to pay for installation 3x. While I realize I could do it...
The problem is it won't store the settings to stay on while parked, which to me is a real problem. I actually got it through 4wp so I'm taking it in tomorrow. They need to handle the rma. Hopefully they only need the mirror and control box.
I talked quite a bit with Brandmotion and they said it needs to be RMA'd. They think it's the control box, but I'd talk to them. It sounds like it may be more common.
Would it be possible to get a picture of your fuse box? I've had this since before they included the taps and it's never quite worked right. it would always show the date as 2054 and would never hold a new date. now that I installed my own taps it seems to let me change the date, then on...
I like the idea, but I'd prefer a 1/4-20 mount so I can swap between the Dashboard and here. The problem with the top mount is it's power only not data, which means I have to use wireless sync which crashes a bunch of times. I've got something similar setup with one of those tripods that...
Well like I said this seems like more of a design gremlin than a result of my ending up in 3 ft of water. Which is a relief. It wouldn't surprise me if they're sending out guidance to replace the whole assembly so that Ford can get them back for debug purposes.
Well it looks like the sway bar is throwing an internal error and new guidance from Ford is to replace it. Fortunately it failed on, not off. So now the waiting game begins.
I'm at 2200 miles and had this crop up over the weekend. Currently I'm sitting in the dealer hoping it's a quick fix. In a way I'm happy to see I'm not alone in this and this isn't electrical issues coming up from taking the Bronco Swimming a month ago.
So I did this on Apr 4th.
Didn't stall out or anything and was in the water about 15 minutes. I think she's fine, (and we've nicknamed her Lusitania or Lucy). This past weekend I got that my stabalizer disconnect needs service though. I'm currently in the shop waiting to here what's up...
Well i checked the oil and it looks clean. I have to take it in for other reasons friday, ill have the transmission fluids. I gave it a solid cleaning but there's definitely gunk still caking the bottom of the car. The bash plates are pretty hard to clean out. Still i seem to have survived my...
You're sounding like the guys who ran the park! It was my first time out ever. Harder than the guys with me expected for green trails. I told them I got it to use it! Thanks for the advice I'll check and report back and put together a trip report.
Well I just came home to a small puddle of yellowish fluid maybe about the size of a coaster. It would be under the front diff. I'm guessing that's not good. Sorry it's blurry, was about the size of a coaster.
