  1. 2.3L - Life Expectancy?

Yeah, that's not bad actually, I'm a change oil every 5k or so, I am already 3 oil changes in (16k miles). I'll probably go ahead and do the air filter soon too. Yeah, I'm not up for the extended warranty, I don't really have time or patience for our local dealer. I bought from a dealer about...
  2. 2.3L - Life Expectancy?

I've only had a few vehicles, some of which had engines that were known to last (22R-E, Inline 6 (Jeep)) and they did just that, along with one engine ('07 JK V6) that was a first-year production and not the best track record - that lasted 180k miles at least, but had various issue (oil leaks...
  3. Why this guy bought a Rubicon over a Bronco

Yeah, so......I made this switch, but a 4 door Rubicon to a 2 door Badlands.....my price OTD was $46,500 (this was last March and I got all of my price mods since I ordered in '21). I basically made my Rubicon to match: Armorlite Flooring - $900 Bartact Seat Covers - $700 Doesn't match the...
  4. Errors after removing doors

I actually met a software engineer on the Bronco at the Vegas Off-Roadeo and I noted the only issue I've had so far is the radio/screen staying on after the vehicle is shut off periodically with the doors off. He was really receptive and followed up with me for analytics from my vehicle...
  5. Best floor mats for washout floors?

Bump on this thread - my washout floor has done well so far, but it constantly has sand, dirt, etc. so I've been getting my use out of them. Two questions: 1. Weathertech or 3wliners ( 3W-Auto-Life | All-Weather Floor Mats, Truck Mats, Cargo Liners (3wliners.com) 2. Has anyone adapted...
  6. Stuffin’ a 2dr -- what have you stuffed into your 2 door Bronco?

A Large 29'er mountain bike, Gazelle Tent, full size cooler, propane camp stove, cooking utensils, air mattress, pillows, sheets. Basically enough for a solid weekend.
  7. 2025 4Runner (6th Gen) Official Teasers! [Updated with 2nd Teaser: Roll Down Rear Window]

April 9th we will find out. Power Rear Window for 2025 4Runner! + April 9 Reveal Date!
  8. Jeep is Copying Bronco Heritage Edition

Yeah....these are Moab/Easter concepts they come out every year, that vehicle will never see production Let's get one thing straight, Ford benchmarked the Bronco to the Jeep and copied a ton of it. So....I think it's probably smart to back off Jeep ripping off Ford.
  9. Now Available: HAVOC Offroad® California Brief Top

I'm using the bimini top a guy that was on this forum was selling, it worked pretty well the first year. I'm going to roll with that another year (basically from May - September). No flapping, no issues at interstate speeds. This is a must have for me, I'm pretty much hard top part of the year...
  10. 2025 Bronco Peak Blue color spotted?!

I would love a 2 door, non-Heritage in that color, although I still love Eruption Green.
  11. Bike Rack that clears without an extension?

Yeah....see needing something like an anti-rattle plate, etc. kinda makes me want to stick with my current solution - handlebars down in the back with the front wheel off. It's secure, I'm not worrying about it falling off, and it to my knowledge so far....hasn't hurt the bike. The main reason...
  12. Bike Rack that clears without an extension?

Ok, I've asked this a ton of times and still not completely clear on an answer, so here's what I've got and what I'm looking for: SAS 2 door, no hitch I want the 1UP Heavy Duty Single I want to clear the tailgate with the mount tilted downward (no swing arm) What do I need far as hitch...
  13. Coming soon: Armorlite replacement flooring for 2dr and 4dr Bronco

Cool, maybe down the road a cargo area portion for the rear of the 2 door might be a nice add-on for me. That's the area that really gets beat and covered in sand. Exhibit A attached! Also......Armorlite you will see that I used one of your competitors for the cargo area in my JL (only because...
  14. Coming soon: Armorlite replacement flooring for 2dr and 4dr Bronco

I'm sure it would.......so the JL has gone on to a new home. I do love your customer service...Armorlite is literally one reason I bought the JL as I hated Rhinoliner/Line-X as an option in my TJ/JK. The JK I actually did nothing and basically destroyed the cab throughout. I'm going to roll...
  15. Coming soon: Armorlite replacement flooring for 2dr and 4dr Bronco

I feel like I can weigh in here as I had a JL with the full Armorlite build (except cargo - my Bronco got built after a 2.5 year wait just as it came out). I'm in sand, mud, etc. all of the time between surf/kiteboarding and mtn biking so a washout floor is a necessity. Here's my comp between...
  16. What's an EASY hack/fix that REALLY improved your relationship with your Bronco?

Removing the back seats of my 2 door. Adding some waterproof material in the gaps where the seats were fastened. That's pretty much it.
  17. 2Dr or 4? New Member

2 door all the way, and I debated this for awhile. I had a 2 door Jeep when I was young for a few months, but mostly a truck, a XJ 4 door, then a 4 door JK and JL. The Bronco in a 2 door is the perfect dimensions as opposed to a 2 door JL/jeep. I've taken the back seats out, and can fit mtn...
  18. Ford hitch, 1up bike rack, 1up extender, Sasquatch - works great!

Yeah, that looks like it's with the swing. I don't know, I haven't had any issues just loading the bike into the cargo with no rear seats (front wheel off). I might just keep rolling with that, secure, no issues, can still go 4 wheeling if I want on a bike trip.
  19. Ford hitch, 1up bike rack, 1up extender, Sasquatch - works great!

I'm wondering this too.....basically I want the Heavy Duty Single mount with extender, but want to be able to open the tailgate without the swing arm when the bike is not loaded (Sasquatch 2 door), I'd be buying the Curt hitch as well.
  20. Rakattach 2.0 vs Kuat Pivot V2

Dumb question but if you don't have the RakAttack or Kuat Swingarm, and you don't have a bike loaded, will the 1up rack fold down enough to open the tailgate (i.e. all of the times you open the tailgate without a bike loaded)?
