  1. 2023 Bronco complaints

Ok, when are all of you using your hazards? I'm intrigued. Unless you are on the side of the road in the dark changing a tire or in some way disabled, or in a funeral procession I see zero purpose in using hazards for any other situation.
  2. 2023 Bronco complaints

I have a '23 Badlands 2 door, similar rationale, except I felt like the 2 door JL was a bit too small. This list is so nit-picky I think it proves Ford designed a great vehicle. Mudflaps from the factory? Mudflaps on the Bronco are hideous, I'd rather deal with the rock chips than look at...
  3. 8-Day 4,000 Mile Round Trip to Southern Utah from Atlanta, Georgia

I was actually just out there mountain biking and hiking with my wife (Zion/Hurricane) for work/vacation. I had a 2024 Tacoma TRD Off Road from National, no 4x4 but I definitely hit a lot of dirt roads and had fun in it. I wish i had my Bronco, but the main focus was mtb. I like that Hardbody...
  4. The Scout Reveal is Coming!

I agree with the Scout to Bronco comp; my Dad had a green scout when I was little and it definitely has a resemblance.
  5. Manual, 2DR, VB Badlands -- resell trap?

I'm close to you, but I don't want luxury, Carplay and comfortable seats with a washout interior/floor were the main goals (other than a 7MT). I started with a reservation/order for a '21 Cyber Orange (Yellow) non-SAS Badlands, because at that time you couldn't order SAS with a manual. Then...
  6. Five (5) reasons to get 2-door Bronco (per Forbes)

Yeah, I read this too, same reasons I bought it. The 2 door proportionally just works.......although I have no kids, and I took both backseats out 5 days after I got it. It fits pretty much anything I want it to fit, camping gear, kiteboarding/surf gear, etc. Fun as hell to drive with the 7MT...
  7. Dumb Question: Can I remove back seats on 2-door?

Ha, I pretty much had mine removed by month 2 but......stopped short of throwing them out, they are in Jeep hard top bags in my attic. The irony is not lost.
  8. Got Bikes? Cheap, safe bike storage! DIY fork holder rack using a 2x6

Yep, ordered it yesterday. 2" Heavy Duty with the extension. I already have that lock actually for when I don't have the top on. I'll post some pics and info once I have it installed (probably week after next because I'm headed to the PNW this coming week).
  9. Got Bikes? Cheap, safe bike storage! DIY fork holder rack using a 2x6

I prefer the handlebars on the floor, it provides a more stalele base, and then it's just a strap through the tie downs. Standing it up is problematic loading/unloading.
  10. Rockymounts BackStage 2: Initial Thoughts

Any updates on the Backstage? I'm looking at it since it includes the swingarm, I really only need a single mount, so it's between it and the 1UP Quik Rack. I can get the RockyMounts for 15% off ($615) or the 1up for $420 or so....without the swingarm. My thought being if the 1UP is in the way...
  11. Got Bikes? Cheap, safe bike storage! DIY fork holder rack using a 2x6

Not true - I have a large Transition Spur, it fits perfectly with the front wheel off. Here it is with all of my camping gear. I normally use surf straps to strap the fork to the tie downs so it won't move. Now......I have no rear seats, that complicates things a bit (although it did fit when...
  12. Ford hitch, 1up bike rack, 1up extender, Sasquatch - works great!

While I like the spare tire carrier, I am concerned about the weight on the spare tire carrier. For those of you with the 1UP carrier on the hitch - when you have it installed without the bike, how easy is it to load things into the tailgate/cargo area. I have a 2 door, so I access the tailgate...
  13. Bad interior smell

I don't know why everyone is talking about a ozone generator, check the rear underfloor storage area, it's very likely coming from condensation/mold there.
  14. Condensation / Moisture in Rear Under Floor Storage Area

Any update to this? I've got a hard top 2 door, haven't had the plugs in since I got it (March 2023), same issue, gets pretty horrible in the summer. I have no top on now, but.......shouldn't matter. I'm not really hopeful Ford will fix it, is there a aftermarket rubber liner or something that...
  15. 100,000 mile Bronco

That's interesting on the cloth seats, I went and test drove a 4th gen one, it's very comfortable. I will say I actually like the manual in the Bronco better, I'm not sure if it's timing or what. I sat in the 3rd gen.....and yeah if I could get the seat to go up higher, I'd be good, it just...
  16. 100,000 mile Bronco

Yeah, I'm kinda questioning keeping the Bronco long term for this right here. I've already put 18k miles in roughly 15 months, mostly trips, and for the most part it's been solid. I drive very easy, I have the 2.3L and a manual, my last vehicle - a 2007 JK went 180k miles but by the end it had...
  17. 2 door soft top “non-slant back” options?

Add me to the list, the Bikini top in the summer works for local trips, but.......long trips it's a bit of a pain between highway noise and heat. I want something simple to fold back.......I don't care if it's slant or box (I'd rather it be box) and tan with my 2 door Green Bronco would be...
  18. 2.3L - Life Expectancy?

Yeah, Walterboro is where I went (I"m in Charleston), invoice pricing and no dealer fees. Great guys, highly recommend!
