I agree that it isn't throaty, but are you mostly hearing the piped-in noise?
When my Bronco first arrived, it had a bad connection to the DSP module which muted all sounds, including the "fake engine" sounds (apparently).
I found myself asking what people were complaining about, until I had...
Um. Nothing unhinged there at all.
That guy was simply giving his completely different opinion to counter your own overwhelming biased opinion (based on a limited 24hr experience). These are all opinions, which can't be proven right or wrong; but for anyone on the fence out there, I would...
I've been trying to follow the different conversations on here, and see one flaw that might be a problem.
Many have suggested using a faraday bag to keep their Fob in. If that bag is used, wouldn't your vehicle be prevented from passivating that Fob? Thus, the Fob is still active and a theif...
Yep. My vehicle of choice before the Bronco was announced was going to be a TRD Pro. I called to order and they said they don't do orders. If one showed up in my color, they would call.
Never called.
Then the Bronco came out. Dodged a bullet!
The Bronco sound is fixed!
Turns out that one of the pins on the DSP module had been bent over during assembly while inserting the connector. Heading to dealer now to pick her up! 🎉
Maybe some Bronco windows don't rattle? Who knows for sure until we ask? Having more information can help. If some actually don't there may be an easy fix. I guess we will have to wait and see.
Well yeah, they also wouldn't rattle if they were static and not designed to roll down. I want both though, an openable window that doesn't sound like a jalopy. 😂
I just realized that I never posted pics! I've owned it for over a week, but only had time to install the top before going back to the dealer for a bad DSP module.
Next up: RSE steps/sliders, fog lights, and eventually lighter wheels and a Ham Radio.
I have a similar project in mind, and have found little information on this subject. My Bronco is at the dealer for a bad DSP module so I can't tinker!
I did find this thread for the parking lights, and the author provided great pictures. Surely the DRLs can be accessed from the same location...
I appreciate all of the input, it helped me a lot, and figure I should add my own data.
I finally completed the the pending sale to a forum member today, for $750.
It was a long drive for him and he seemed happy, so I imagine anyone selling local could easily go a little higher.
I will second the advice most have given.
If you are a reservation holder and had any sort of communication stating that ADM wouldn't be charged, you should be fine... In this situation, they misrepresented the price in order to lock in your reservation at their dealer. Contact Ford.
If you...
Awesome! Mine showed as "truck dispatched" and then "delivered" on Pals the morning after being paired.
I seems to be luck of the draw as to how deep you are on the loading dock and how far the drive is.
I am planning on Nevada myself. Aside from having a "best friend" there (not the search function) it is also one of the cheapest places in the country to fly to and stay, as long as you are not addicted to gambling. Lol
The strip is fun, but it is designed to trap you there. Definitely need a...
I am planning a modification to my modular bumper that will require some removal of coating and TIG welding.
Any ideas how to replicate the look and durability if the original coating when I'm done?
I haven't had much time with my B&O yet, but I was pleasantly surprised by it, given some of the negative posts and number of people already upgrading it.
When I get a vehicle, the first thing I usually do is replace the speakers and head unit. With the B&O, though, I see no need.
I might...
For good LEDs, I have found nothing but expensive options. I am planning the fabrication of my own mount for my Mod bumper, and the only lights I've found that I like will be about $700. It's rediculous, but they should last a lifetime.
I read his statement as meaning he doesn't regret choosing something other than a Badlands, and was possibly split on the decision, since it was marketed as the "most capable".
Thus, he ended up with the one he wanted and can still do everything he wants to do, and more.
Now I'm confused. How do these have no poke at -10? Anyone? Don't get me wrong, this is a good thing, I like these wheels!
From what I've seen, 0 offset is usually too much for my tastes, even with squatch flares.
Edit: Is it because this is a non-squatch? I am having trouble remembering all...
This is probably too unique to be in the consolidated thread, yet.
My B&O stereo is stuck at Zero volume despite the fact that I can see tracks playing. Fortunately, I am able to listen to the radio when sitting at a stop light and the engine turns off. When I press the clutch and the engine...
I had a great experience despite fearing the worst:
Northgate Ford in Port Huron MI. My salesperson, Jeff Blair, was amazing to work with.
Mind you, they (like most) aren't selling MSRP to non-reservations. I've heard up to 10k increases are being taken.
