Hey to anyone that has installed the Genesis Dual Battery kit, have a question for you.(any Bronco, not Raptor specific) I just installed this kit on my 2024 Raptor yesterday, including the G Screen. I got the “engine on sensor” option but haven’t installed that yet.
I should start with one...
Yeah I tried getting that back one out for about 10 minutes and then thought about what I was doing because I cut my hand and was extremely annoyed. Only reason to take that out was to zip tie the new one on top of it. I got that bottom plug out pretty easy so instead of using zip ties I noted...
Not sure if you ever figured this out, but just installed this in my Raptor and no need for the jumper. Installed, started it and let it run for a minute, shut it off and everything works as it should so far. Just may need to dial in the sensitivity a bit.
I have a set of Mabett Trail Sight Lights. Brand new, never installed or used. I had them
for my last Bronco and never installed them and don’t want to install them on my Raptor. Comes with all the hardware to install them and they integrate with lights and turn signals. If you want them, you...
@RagnarKon
Hey when you get a moment, could you have a look at my fuse list and let me know if your Broncos fuse panel is the same as mine or is it using slots that I may not be? I wish I would have done this with my Outer Banks so I had a bit of reference in the differences. One of my former...
I recently installed a dash cam in my Raptor and trying to find a good source for the interior fuse panel, what fuses were ACC(fuse only active when Bronco is turned on), what fuses were B+(fuse always hot) was not easy. So, I just went through the entire panel in my 2024 Raptor and tested every...
I had this issue when I first installed mine. If you have another person to help you, pop the hood and have them rev the motor while you watch to see if the valve is opening. You may need to rotate it so you can see it. If you don’t have someone to help you, you could do what I did. I popped the...
Can confirm this worked for me. @ju015dd thank you for finding this! If you are ever in the Austin area I owe you. Beers, wash your Raptor, you got it!
Sorry I am bit confused on what you did. It says from a Ranger XLT, so did you add those lines of code in the IPC section of the Raptor? This is the only thing I have left I want to get rid of because it is super annoying. I don’t remember seeing that section on my 2024 Raptor.
Yes I have and you might think it’s crazy. WD40. I tried everything before this and the only thing that came close was scrubbing it with water and a nylon brush and it’s not always clean. Growing up on a farm, we used WD40 for everything, including getting road tar and other hard to remove crap...
Why can’t you get it ceramic coated now? Might have to do a paint correction but sounds like you aren’t hard core off-roading. Might be worth finding a reputable shop and see what they say about it. I had mine ceramic coated shortly after getting it. It really does make a huge difference when I...
Apologies if this has been discussed but I couldn’t find a thread for it and I have searched everywhere for answers. Was hoping to combine all of them into 1 thread.
I was looking for some input on optimum numbers for everything listed in the screenshots below for the Raptor. I haven’t done...
All valid points and you obviously know more about the IMU stuff than I do. I looked at the mobile plan on the starlink site and ouch! For that price a couple of motivated nerds might be able to build something, enjoy doing it and maybe have a working product at some point.
I just thought it...
“The device requires specific orientation alignment (facing north with a certain tilt range) upon startup”
This could be a cool problem to solve. Initial thought is getting a Rasperry Pi and motorized mount of some sort for the starlink device. Wondering if you could program the Rasperry Pi so...
I can concur, I installed the BroAddict table and it is solid. The surface area of the table when fully extended is almost to much but you can fold half of it in on itself which is nice. I use mine for fishing (not cleaning fish), it’s nice having a big surface to hold my tackle and change set...
So I ordered the Mabett dome light and the 4 piece interior lights recently and installed them in my Bronco. I immediately started having issues with the interior lights randomly coming on, not shutting off, all of the above. The dome light worked perfect. I ended up disconnecting all of them...
