We have a hoist in the garage we use to take the top off now with straps... the cargo brackets tuck inside the back cap pretty good. Not sure about stress on crossbars holding 70 lbs (MIC weight) from opposite position without being bolted in. hmmmm

rear roof rack installed. Only holds about 75lbs but it'll get some long bags out of the back to make space.

Unfortunately very limited options right now for any roof racks let alone rear only. BAtents and zroadz have been the main ones getting traction.

Agreed, we wouldn't want to either if possible. The bags we have fit across the 2ft rails and stay off the MIC fortunately.

just installed the rear only BA Tents rack, its solid. I have pics on another post.

Rear only to hold a few extra bags while camping. Its early for full review but so far it has zero rattle with no movement. Easy install, the center bracket was much tighter to put on than the rear (brackets are specific with rear and center). All brackets have rubberized padding inside.

Here are some shots for those looking at the option.... no issues so far besides fedex scratching the brackets lol Badass Tents team has been great on communication and customer service for any issues as well.
