I run 17ft of 1/0 AWG cable to a rear distribution block. Never had any luck finding a lug that was narrow enough to fit, so I just took a Dremel and trimmed down the lug until it made flush contact with the bus bar. Start with 1/0 AWG, 1/4 stud.

There's more than a few problems with a pre-fab enclosure. One, you're limited to finding a subwoofer that matches the cut-out diameter. For example, a JL 12TW3 has a cut-out diameter of 11.625", and an Audiomobile 2412 has a cut-out diameter of 11.00". Two, when you actually find a subwoofer...

Depending on the size of the amps, the amp rack from MTI Acoustics will allow you to mount an amp on the front and back of the amp rack. 3 amps in my system; 2 mounted on the MTI rack, and 1 under the passenger seat.

The best advice that anyone could give you regarding DSP is to download the software, play with it, and go with the one that is the most intuitive and/or makes the most sense to you. Outside of that, without knowing anything about your existing integration, it's difficult to diagnose your system.
