  1. 2025 Bronco 2.3L Air Filter Change DIY Write-Up (cabin air filter + engine air filter)

I don’t know about the efficient vs. restrictive argument, but I know the Subaru cabin always smells noticeably fresher after replacing the cabin air filter. The Bronco cabin never really smells like anything except new fiberglass when the weather is warm.
  2. Recall 26S55: 2021-2026 Bronco - Engine Compartment Wiring Harness Repair [July 23, 2026] -- 590,000k units affected

When I was in Anchorage in the 90’s, it was Worthington Ford. Goofiest car dealer TV ads I had ever seen. Go to YouTube and search ā€œCal Worthington and his dog Spot.ā€ Hint: It was never a dog.
  3. Body-colored tailgate reinforcement: Anyone?

Thanks. I can totally see that being the cause.
  4. Body-colored tailgate reinforcement: Anyone?

Was there an air gap between bumpers and tire? Or something else wrong? Your post started out reassuring, but then just reinforced my concerns at the end. šŸ˜†
  5. Body-colored tailgate reinforcement: Anyone?

Sure, I wasn’t planning on painting it myself. Getting it color matched perfectly to my REB tailgate would be easier for a pro than me with a rattle can. I’m looking for pics from people who have done it.
  6. Body-colored tailgate reinforcement: Anyone?

This is what I would have assumed before coming to the forum, but I swear I’ve seen claims to the contrary on here before.
  7. Body-colored tailgate reinforcement: Anyone?

I’m sticking with 35s. The M/T Baja Boss AT, Falken Wildpeak A/T4W, Nitto Ridge Grapplers are all under consideration, but I haven’t done a deep dive yet. My basic requirements are decent road manners and noise levels, snow and rain performance that are as good or better than my Territory RTs...
  8. $259.99 Tube Fender Flare Delete - Arrive Soon!

You guys make some cool stuff, but this seems like a terrible idea.
  9. Body-colored tailgate reinforcement: Anyone?

The time will come when I’m going to upgrade the OEM SAS tires to something more trail-worthy and I’ll be faced with a dilemma: buy four heavier tires with thicker sidewalks and keep one Goodyear as a spare with a cover, which is the cheapest and simplest solution, or buy 5 to stick with the...
  10. Smell good in your Bronco - BRONCO BRICC

Sand? Sounds like mechanic’s hand soap. I’m sure not washing my nads with it.
  11. Display current gear on the dash?

The auto only tells you in manual shift mode. I guess they figure we don’t need to know otherwise.
  12. Don't Ignore The Interior of The Frame Rails ~ Chassis Flush

Thanks, I’m ordering. Frame rust killed my 2k Tacoma after 13 years, and I had been meticulous about cleaning and touching up the exterior parts of the boxed frame. It was a well-known manufacturing defect, but maybe something like this would have given me some more years with my favorite truck .
  13. What Was the First Trip That Made You Glad You Bought a Bronco?

The first time I got it airborne. It handled great above 6,000 feet and I knew it was a keeper. The road trip from VA to New England and Nova Scotia was the honeymoon with the Bronco. The Bronco did great and there was no unmarked trail or sketchy-looking road that I was afraid to venture...
  14. Recall 26S55: 2021-2026 Bronco - Engine Compartment Wiring Harness Repair [July 23, 2026] -- 590,000k units affected

That seems about right for my ā€˜25 HE. Plus I got a bonus recall because I had a transfer case replaced. šŸ†
  15. New member tire and wheel questions…

I know, sorry to hijack your thread. I was just reminded of another forum member who also bought a new Badlands with no intention of off-roading and came here asking about aftermarket wheels. He ended up hating the Badlands and traded it within a few months for another Bronco that gave him a...
  16. The death of the stick shift is almost here.

Very cool. I’ve never used one, but I remember it well from my dad’s maroon F-100.
  17. New member tire and wheel questions…

Honestly, if you’re not going to do serious off-roading, then the Badlands is probably the last trim you should be looking at.
