Yeah man, go for it! Seems like it's going to work out fine.
Thank you for the Bronco comment! It uses the Hammer Built Winch Mount set up with a Terry Madden 10k short drum winch...it requires a high mount intercooler (I used Wagner because I don't have automatic cruise control adapter to...
Ok @SPS573, the SR light bar mount actually does work. You need to snug it down tight where the Connect bolts down to the mounts. I actually sheared a bolt off trying to get it tight enough that it couldn't be tilted up and down, but the 2 extra they give you (for 2 extra holes with the proper...
I have the SR bracket sitting here and came to the same conclusion about having to drilling a hole.
Did you happen to get your connectors/harness components from @SPVPARTS? Crazy because Rigid shows the Bronco in their promo/ads for the 360 connect all mounted up lol wtf
Hey, Oscar. What did you end up using here? SPV Parts sent me the SR mount kit and I'm not super confident that's the right one for the Connect system. Any help appreciated!
Put it in your back pocket for another day (hopefully Hurricane Creek comes back, not super confident it will0. Check out Shad Road and Horse Creek instead.
I think it would've been fine, but it's hard to say and once you reach a certain point on that section (almost immediately) you're committed to going forward.
Yeah, and I would've thought it was part of the trail work that happens in the offseason (Dec-April), but they didn't do much with that spot. Over the course of the year it gets really deep and rutted out from vehicles going the opposite direction and rutting it out.
There's not an official bypass right there at that spot, unfortunately. There is a place to his drivers side right at the crest of that entrance that people have cut through the woods, but it's not a part of the trail and the purists definitely get pissed when people start cutting through.
Thanks! Happy to lead the crew through Dutch John! You’ll love it. If you’re new, that trail will show you what your Bronco is capable of and will be an eye opener.
I'm in. You don't need rock sliders for Dutch John, FWIW. I'd also recommend climbing the back side of Daniel - but would recommend some skid protection before doing it.
I use a leaf blower, all doors, windows everything open. Then a wet beach towel and go crazy in there. Doesn't get all of the cracks and vents and everything, but it passes the quick eye test. No telling how much dust and dirt has piled up on my dash speakers/tweeters under the cover. I should...
I believe the error occurs when diagonal wheels are off the ground moving at different rates. No traction on Back passenger, Front Driver, for example.
