Exactly this. The SAS tires grab and throw everything. These sliders are my rock shields. They also prevent idiots in parking lots from swinging their door into my door. Many uses for these and they look great too. Very happy with this upgrade.

They do, but the brackets that get mounted to the truck are visible. Still looks better than seeing the pinch welds.

I checked them against the diagrams provided to make sure I had them on the correct sides, but the instructions were mislabeled in a number of spots so who knows. I didn't think to flip them and I was able to make it work, so I should be good.

Just switch to the 2.3L. You'll save some cash and I don't think you will be disappointed. I've got a 4-door SAS and it has much better acceleration than I thought it would, plus there are tunes available if you feel that there isn't enough power for you.

Well that's the thing, the vehicle is smart enough to turn on the lights automatically when the wipers are turned on. It was the same way in my Ranger. That's a separate function from DRL.

I don't have the signature lighting and the half circle lighting on the standard headlight looks strange to me. Plus it's an added load on the battery that just isn't needed in sunny Florida in my opinion.
